I like it when I feel the meat in my stomach.

I can do without most meat, but I love seafood. I only eat 1 actual meal a day supplemented by food substitutes like ensure or adwalla protein shakes. The rest of my diet is candy and fruit as snacks. :lol That's why I take vitamins faithfully, I'm pretty sure I'm not covering all the food groups.

I went vegetarian for a while, it literally makes you sick for a month or so when you first start. :lol

Been eating Paleo for about 6 months now. Best decision I've ever made. Feel great, losing weight, and food is satisfying.

It wasn't the veggies that made me sick, it was the lack of meat. A lot of people have had similar experiences that's why they tell you to get on certain vitamins if you're gonna make that switch and make sure you have good sources of protein.

I eat meat and I watched the video that was posted earlier in the the thread. It is a simulator of what it must be like to be a Federal Judge. I sat there thinking that this being is surely not as worthy as me, surely it has feelings but ultimately it is right and proper to plunder this being's body. Sending a black man to a debased life in a cage for five decades because he sold cocaine to white and willing college kids must be akin to convincing myself that a steer must be less intelligent and that it must surely die for my benefit.

As badly as the animals get treated my reason for considering being veggie is pretty selfish. If i can feel, look and operate better on that diet then i'm in. The karmic benefits of not eating a tortured animal is really just a bonus.
