LC on Gamma 11s - jumpman on tag looks off

I bought these and am a little unsure of the tag on the outside of the tongue. The "JUMPAN JORDAN" tag. To me the actual Jordan logo looks way off. I did a lot of research before I bought them so I would be educated about spotting a replica. Everything on the shoe looks like it's authentic, except for the jumpman logo on the tongue. I'm not an expert, but like I said I did plenty of research, and in my opinion a fake can be spotted based on quality alone, and this goes for anything not just Jordans. The shoes look high quality with good materials, and all the points of emphasis as far as authentication seem to be in line. The Jordan logo had be a little concerned and confused. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well they were advertised as authentic. Also said they would come with a receipt which they didn't. Any recourse for getting my money back. I have worn them twice. It's upsetting that people would sell fake shoes at such a high price and try to pawn them off as the real thing. I guess that's just the way the world works. I paid via PayPal with a private transaction. Hopefully I can get my money back because I don't want to be walking around in replicas that are supposed to be authentic

Receipts and feedback mean ABSOLUTELY nothing these days when dealing with shoes..They know what you want to see..They fake the receipts, the box stickers and everything else now.

How did you pay? Via PP invoice? With your CC? Contact PP and ask what you should do. Chances are you wont get a full refund since they've been worn.

Yea obviously people are going to say what they need to in order to get make the sale. It's just kinda pathetic. I paid via PayPal he sent me an invoice by email. I'm hoping that because he said I would come with a receipt and I didn't that I can use that for the PP dispute. Otherwise how to you prove they are not authentic. Isn't it just one mans word vs anothers

Did he/she state 100% Authentic in the invoice? If so you may be ok, if not it may be a hard one..

Yes in the end its one guys opinion vs another but PP is generally on the buyers side if you have covered your bases. File the claim, show PP this thread, and the link ive provided. That should be enough.. Ill tag a few more guys, hopefully they come through and comment for you.

@from88til@agsz pmpdaddyrobford pmpdaddyrobford Can we get you guys opinions as well..thx.

I appreciate the help a lot. I actually took a screenshot of the listing on kixify just in case something like this happened.

pictures of the box?

honestly they seem legit to me. flash will make the shoe looks off. need a picture of the box to see if they got the indentation for the 23 and the label.

the glue lines under the insole and the stitchings all look good to me at least.

I hope these aren't fake, they look OK to me besides the font of the 23s looks kinda weird.
I usually don't care for boxes but I'm curious what it looks like

I don't have pictures of the box on me but I can take some when I get home from work. Honestly the box looks way more suspect than the shoes. I'm no expert on this stuff but IMO fakes should be easily spotted. Maybe they're replicating some really legit **** and it's too hard to tell. Which is scary. Anyway the box is beat up. No factory stamp inside. Not well embossed, almost looks printed. He says they were purchased retail but there's not retail sticker on the box ie Champs, Foot Locker, etc. single wrapped paper i know there's supposed to be double. Shoe trees look good but whatever. I really don't care about the box being in rough shape but if it's bootleg that probably means the shoes are too. I don't buy shoes to collect them I buy them to wear so having a mint condition box isn't high on my priority list. However I can't think of a reason why there would be retail shoes inside a replica box. Maybe the box was lost or something so they got a replacement. Probably not though. I'll post pictures later.

Here are the pictures of the box and accesories. The camera on my phone was picking up the color on the shoe trees and the box insert in a weird way, making them look very blue, so took an extra picture of each with a filter on making it look more like the color I was seeing.

definitely fake after seeing the box.

good luck trying to get your refund since you wore them already. maybe partial refund or they might not even let you get refunded because you wore them. the seller could argue that he sold you a brand new pair and you are trying to return a fake pair that you already worn and had.

I guess I jumped the gun a little wearing them around before I made sure they were legit. I'm still gonna try to get my money back because screw this guy for trying to sell fakes and say they're authentic. That's sleezy at best. Is there any sort of possibility that the shoes are authentic and just put in a replacement box that is a replica. Seems far fetched but the shoes, if they are a knockoff, are a very good one.... Also I contacted the seller and told him all of my concerns about the shoe and mostly the packaging, as well as the lack of receipt. His response was "There should be a receipt". Really? He then said he must have it and will take a picture and send it to me. Yea ok. Besides the lack of receipt is really the least concerning issue. A receipt doesn't really prove anything especially if it's just a picture. That's just stupid.

stay away

Unfrotunately they're already in my possession. Are you basing your opinion on the packaging or on the shoe. I think the box is way off and looks obviously like a replica. But the shoes I think look pretty good except for a few minor flaws

yea definitely fake unfortunately

btw, get that crap off your Xbox one, you're gonna suffocate it. that fan on top sucks in air not blows it out
