The Healthy Food Thread vol. Eating Right

4 Eggs
A cup of whole milk
4 tablespoon almond butter
2 tablespoon coconut oil
1 banana

You can add vanilla ice cream for taste if u like
That's 1500 calories right there. Drink post workout for gains

Are you of the caucasian race brethren?
Im black b, shame on me

Ive always known them as sweet potatoes, but went to the supermarket and the sign said yams.

Thank you for this thread. I'm on the night shift and there's half of a cake just sitting here and I was so tempted.

Just ordered some grassfed whey the other day because I'm about to join a gym. I've been slacking on weight lifting since I moved to Florida.

I read grassfed whey and didn't know what that was. I never used whey protein and just looked up it's made from cows. I had no idea.

Almond butter is in the same aisle as peanut butter lol. Thread is off to a horrible start though I have nothing to add. I've been working out a whole year but diet is whatever I want. Need to get a bit more strict

Just started making them myself. :smokin

I add a cup of chobani yogurt, chia seeds, and a bit of orange juice to the cups of spinach I use. Was shocked at how much I liked it once I tried it.

Info on your avy? Who dat

Your black card is temporarily revoked. 1 week suspension. Effective immediately.

Same ****. I rarely see both at the same time and use them interchangeably.

They're not the same. A Sweet Potato is white on the inside like a russet, but it has a sweet taste. A yam is orange, but we call a yam a yam or a sweet potato. Either way, they're delicious. Candied yams :smokin

Currently in college so eating healthy is actually really easy

Usually a meal for me is spinach, cucumbers, kidney beans, 2 plums, brown rice, and grilled chicken.

Ive also been eating a lot of carrots, green peppers, green beans, and broccoli

I also usually take an apple or banana with me to snack on when i leave the dining hall

Its crazy because eating this stuff actually makes me feel good.

I ended up going home to visit my family for the weekend, and decided to eat what they were serving. Had some pizza and fries.

I could literally feel my skin get greasy eating it

Ive pretty much stopped eating oily/fried foods altogether. Been on this healthy lifestyle for almost 6 to 7 weeks now. Feels good

Ill start taking some more pics of my meals to post here. Just deleted a bunch from my camera roll to make room for more storage.

I'm also starting to get interested in the vegan lifestyle. Need to do more research though.

I would love to incorporate more vegan dishes in my rotation, but there aren't many places around me. I found one spot close to me but their menu is hella small and expensive. Bought a burrito, and a lil desert, and came out to be $30

So if a sweet potatoe is orange and a yam is white/ purple on the inside ...I've never had real candy yams ??

Replaced potato chips for these bad boys...

Little changes makes a big difference though...swap out rice for quinoa or couscous...swap ground beef/pork for Turkey...
Do not use man made oils...stick to cocunot oil or butter...you can definitely feel the difference when you eat healthier...
