Lamar Odom Fighting for His Life Found Unconscious at Nevada Brothel

We all know depressed people who either live in a bit of denial or are really gloomy, do we all have the duty to try to keep these people in our company to potentially save a life or just hope they pull themselves together and mind our own business? I'm the latter type of douche, feel bad brehs.

If they are friends or family, I feel obligated to help in any way I can, big or small.

I like to think optimistically and hope that I could encourage someone just a little bit.

Sometimes a simple greeting or a invite to grab a meal, can do wonders for someone who is suffering from depression.

I can say that from experience. Depression took a toll on my life for a year.
 
I would like to take the Radar Online article w/ a grain of salt...but if it is true :smh: They might be the lowest common denominator of people on this Earth. Seacrest, too. You would think that out of respect for Odom and those that really love him, the cameras would have been cut off.
 
I know a few people, who by my perception, are clearly depressed. I have no problem cuttin' up with them when I see them... But I would avoid them at all cost otherwise. I wish them well, but the reality usually just brings my morale down and I only want to tell them to pull themselves together after a while. Not wanting to judge someone about something I don't understand, I just avoid them. Feels like something that might have happened to Lamar, I'd feel bad if something like this happened to someone I knew was depressed even if we weren't friends or close or anything

I think there is a big issue w/ the Kardashians/E if they are filming the moments when Khloe finds out he overdosed or actually filming hospital shots.

Granted, it's all rumor mill...but you gotta hope that it's not true.

That was for publicity. All part of a story to them

But they aint wishing death on anybody or plotting like some ruthless cutthroats. This is real.

This will still be used for their show though.

tried one of them pills before and my heart was beating dumb fast n I was on rock until the morning :x never again :smh:

Sad to hear bout L.O. , he has some many messed up moments in his life , remember hearing bout him getting robbed leaving one of his mans funeral smh

You should have gone to the hospital. It is highly recommended that if you take an enhancement pill and you have an erection of four hours or longer, that you seek emergency help ASAP.
 
Odom, who won two NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009 and 2010, last played in the NBA in 2013, and saw recent reality TV fame through his four-year marriage to Khloe Kardashian.

Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, citing irreconcilable differences.

The two were married in 2009 in a large ceremony that was taped for the E! network, following a whirlwind engagement that was also filmed.

Some troubles that met Odom before and during his NBA career appeared to worsen after he left the league, and included a no-contest plea to drunken driving shortly before his divorce.

Odom most recently played for the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2012-13 season, his second stint with the team. He averaged 4.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists playing all 82 games. He became a free agent in July 2013 but no other NBA team signed him.

In February 2014, Odom signed with a Spanish team on a two-month deal but a month later he returned to the U.S. because of a back injury. That April, he signed with the New York Knicks for what remained in the season, but he didn't appear in their final game and was waived that July.

He also played for Miami, the Lakers and Dallas.

Odom was suspended during the 2000-01 season for violating the NBA's anti-drug policy for the second time in eight months. During the 2010-11 season, a cousin he was close to died and Odom was a passenger in a vehicle involved in an accident in New York that killed a cyclist.

Odom played one season at Rhode Island before being drafted in the first round with the No. 4 overall pick by the Clippers in the 1999 NBA draft. He was named to the All-Rookie team and played four seasons with the team before becoming a restricted free agent and signing with Miami.

He helped the U.S. win a bronze medal in the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Born Lamar Joseph Odom on Nov. 6, 1979, in Queens, New York, he was raised by his grandmother after his mother died of cancer when he was 12. His father was a drug addict.

In 2006, Odom's 6-month-old son Jayden died from SIDS while sleeping in his crib in New York.

He has a daughter, Destiny, and a son Lamar Jr., from a previous relationship.

As we reported, people at the Ranch say Lamar had been using an herbal substitute for Viagra. Someone at the Ranch who was around Lamar tells us he was popping 8 to 10 herbal Viagras at a time. There are perils to the drug -- it can cause dangerously low blood pressure and it can restrict blood flow to vital organs.

Another source at the ranch says Lamar was taking the actual Viagra drug from a prescription bottle.

If true, this only re-enforces that this is a family full of leeches and scums. From over the years, I always thought Khloe was one of the most normal out the whole family, but now it's looking like Rob and Kendall. Guess Scott wasn't the bad guy after all during that time around them.
 
Yall can believe every new story coming out now but a dude in a brothel for 3 days suddenly becomes unconscious after getting angry at a Kardashian show and how he was portrayed? Only drank a 2/3 of cognac? Unless son came in there with already failing lungs and kidneys or some other serious condition he was ignoring it's hard not to believe drugs were involved.

If none were found they either did them all or somebody with him cleaned the place up before cops and the EMTs arrived.
