iLLest quitting already? Aint son just get on last Tuesday? Vol. You Chappellin b?

So do corporations get cuts for ad revenue too? So it is essentially what commercials serve as on regular TV?

So is there a special # of followers/subscribers you have to have before those companies start to approach you or do you send in an application to get ads?

Anyone you see with a vevo YouTube account is paid by YouTube.

Even joe blow gets paid by YouTube if he agrees to have the ads before his videos. It's all numbers though, you need the views and subscribers or you won't make anything. It just an option, do you want ads before your video for x amount of money? Yes or no. You could make an account right now giving reviews on toilet paper and just check the box where you want ads before your vid to get paid.

You don’t make money based on the amount of views you have. You make money based on people’s engagement with the ad. Engagement here means clicking or watching a ad for more than 30 seconds. YouTube Advertising is managed in the Adwords platform. Advertisers choose ads on a Cost Per Click (CPC) or Cost Per View (CPV) model.

Oh ok. Thanks for that, it used to be different or maybe it's only the dudes with vevo accounts get paid by view.

Time out, ya surprised?...

Been saying his videos are scripted, some of them are so blatant is cringe worthy.
Thought everyone knew this as well.

Videos are pure entertainment.. for those actually entertained. Which seems to be a lot of people.

Good for him

i think I recall another big youtuber Todrick Hall saying that the money you make from youtube/ads, works out to about $2500 per million views

Years back I remember questioning Fousey about the people in his pranks. Did they give consent after the fact to allow them to be recorded. Did they get a cut of the $$$. I basically said he was getting paid big not for what he did but the reactions of others. I know in some places, public streets etc. you can record people without their consent. But I am unsure how he did it. But it all makes sense now. If they were paid $50 for a quick reaction, then no big deal. Assume the worst when it comes to youtube and every one of those channels/vloggers

I know that you and a few others have said that in the past but i just didn't really want to believe it just because it's pathetic to fraud like that. i realize that there's plenty of money involved but have a little bit of dignity and don't try and pass it off as genuine reactions. i guess it's all just entertainment though and it's his life, not mine. i very rarely click those kinds of vids on purpose though except maybe LAHWF. that dude cracks me up. wonder if he's fake too?

It's called acting, y'all are hating on that?
