You already catch my drift from the title.
A man is not supposed to keep a suit in his closer after a certain period of time. So I wanted to know if a suit exchange exists. Where you can turn in your old joints, and get credit for some new ****.

If it doesn't exist, Someone should start it up

i know of none, but depending on the label and condition, you might try one of those high(er) end hipster-y co-signment shops...

i wouldnt try that with any jos a bank, mens wear hoss, or macys type joints though...

i disagree with the notion that you need to redo your suit wardrobe every so often...

some looks are classically timeless...like below

looks good and versatile, can go to the office, to the church pew, to the power lunch...

I buy some timeless fitted suits and plan on keeping them for a long time.

Sure i'll wear them out before they go out of style.

Walking around looking like colonel sanders is not the wave

But at least if he gets drafted by the 76ers next year, he'll get the matching hat.

Now that'd be dope.

i dont see whats so wrong about the suit, all a matter of opinion...fits him in the shoulder, the armscye depth looks proportional (no divots), sleeve length falls to the wrist bone, the jacket is not showing any signs of the "X-ing" (indicating its too tight), trousers have a decent break and an appropriate drape...

i learned a lot from our DBNT fambs to recognize a decent fitting suit, and that is one...

I've never heard of anyone switching a suit wardrobe after every few years.

If you do it right, you'll end up with 3-4 classic suits that will last you YEARS. But if you're getting those "trendy" suits then yeah, I can see why people would change their wardrobe every few years.

Most people hardly ever have to wear a suit, unless you're the type that wears one everyday to work. Usually, people where suits to weddings, special events and sometimes court dates

My advice: Just buy a GOOD QUALITY well tailored classic suit (eg. Navy, Charcoal, Grey, Navy pinstripe) with a notch lapel and don't gain too much weight. That should hold you over through your lifetime.

What about the cats like me who lift and within 3 weeks my quads are busting out my slacks causing the seams to rip?

buy trousers based on your anticipated gains and work from there...T-Mac probably did the same thing in this pic, since i believe he was injured at the time so he lost some mass, and buying pants that are larger, allows you to go up to a certain point...

Just go to Burlington Coat Factory, or a Goodwill location in an affluent area and hit the tailor...

As long as the fit is right most people will not be able to tell the difference between something you'd get at Nordstrom or Saks.

Gray Slate Suit = Have you looking like a lawyer :wow:
