Halfway in and it's hard. It Was Written, 30 N's and Keisha. Joint is too nice.

I don't like the Def Jam move but I hope it works out well. Don't think it will, they've been garbage for almost a decade.

If it's a JV I don't see it changing much other than being able to take the baton if he ***** around and make a record they can really take to radio etc.

Yeah, I get that. Dave my guy but they're not promoting the sound he bringing and I don't see him blowing up or making a huge smash single. People don't want this sound or actual bars so it's gonna be interesting. Hoping for the best.

Was disappointed that him and Fab using auto tune on that song. Should have been straight bars.

"Every time I leave the club they hope I have the steel,
We just got some weed, we just trying to chill,
We just trying to eat, we just trying to build,
They follow every car I'm trying to ride in,
I'm just praying this ain't the car that I die in,
I guess with hoody on I'm a murderer,
I'm just trying to buy mother some new furniture"

Yeah, he got busy on "Don't Shoot" yo

This is a real good album. Not one bad song. It Was Written the best joint.

Def Jam ain't been about **** since the Jay and X era. They wanna push the Trinidad Jame and Designer clowns. The good thing for Dave is he's already on his way up. He doesn't need them to gain a buzz.

he'll still move around like a indie artist, i'm almost sure Nas will take some control of East's input as well. i know he didn't leave Mass Appeal so it's probably just to get his name out there a little more.

Best track so far is "it was written" but I can see my favorite joint changing by the daily

This one right here tho, fittna ride around one time to get a feel of it.

Dope

Dave is definitely trending up and I feel like this tape might be the one to really get his name out there

I've played this album about 5-6 times so far. I'm loving it, this is the music I miss. I had to cut out the skits though, I hate skits.

Anyone know if there will be physical copies? I hate buying digital albums.

Been hearing good things all over about this album. Would listening to it be a good introduction to him? Or should I start with mixtapes?
