Wrestling Thread Oct 19 - Nov 8 | Nov 5: Seth Rollins Tears ACL/MCL, Stripped of WWE Title

But what does his ability to properly execute his moonsault have to say about his ability to COACH?

The only thing we know about his teaching was his "abuse." We don't know anything else to judge him as a good or bad teacher
The fact that he was a bad person to his students is what seals the deal for me. Plus how you gonna truly critique someone when you can't do it yourself. Like that fat lady who teaches kids how to dance on tv, can't take her serious. Demeaning people under the guise of training/teaching is bogus. I've been a supervisor for years at a previous job, there is a way yo get your point across without being a ****. Otherwise that person should try an alternate profession.

You do realize that most great coaches in NBA history either

A. Didn't play

B. Were "bums"

The, "If you can't do it how can you teach someone else card" doesn't exist.

Plus, who is to say he is teaching them moonsaults?

Also, the demaning part I don't agree with. He is horrible for that. But his ability to TEACH is something separate. Him doing the things he did does not take away from whether or not students learned CONTENT from him.

This is so true.

I mentioned earlier he wasn't technically sound, which most coaches are even if they can't physically do the activity. He was never given accolodes for his cerebral ability, the other aspect of coaching and he wasn't good at his profession; just another guy so to speak. So what qualifies him to be a coach, let alone the head coach?

I knew you were gonna pull the most coaches aren't good at the sport card to strengthen the rest of my argument. This is chess not checkers...

Was he NOT technically sound or were the characters he portrayed not technically based characters?

He was a HELL crazo with the DUngeon of Doom. What was he supposed to be doing? STF's and Multiple wrist locks?

Edit: I just realized what you typed is what I was saying essentially. Gotta stop day drinking b

You would have to ask the people that coached him. I know NOTHING about how he coaches other than what I have heard with the negative press.

But I WILL NOT make ASSUMPTIONS about his coaching style based on his WRESTLING STYLE.

That makes no sense considering his wrestling style is controlled and manipulated and isn't a direct reflection of his knowledge.

On my Momma! If they sell those New Day unicorn horns on Shop I swear I'm coping for whoever I get for NTWTSS.

If you get me and that shirt is sent to me, I am burning it like people from that stupid state did when LeBron left. Don't buy me that shirt

Based on the, "He wasn't technically sound so he shouldn't be a wrestling coach" logic

Stevie Ray

Bubba Ray

Devon

Wild Samoans

NONE of them are "qualified" to train wrestling.

I know they sell the shirts...I'm talking about the horns they wore on SD. I'm watching it now.

You know what, you're actually right about this. That's why if Kobe coached the Lakers in the future, it would probably be 7 straight seasons of 20-62 before they've fire the hell out of him

Imagine someone watching Bill Cartwrights ugly jumpshot and rewind 15 years later and laugh at the fact that he is a coach. "How can he be a coach, look at his jumpshot."

You hear how crazy that sounds?

"Made me drop my dam phone" -Mark Henry after he punched Boo Dallas

What does qualify him to coach DC? Teachers usually have to get certificates and degrees... so anyone can be a wrestling coach? And don't think i didn't notice that you casually skipped over the lack of coach type intelligence/acumen which was moreso the basis of my legitimate complaint. The video of that garbage moonsault is just that. I even admitted i was only half serious about the video...

I am not making assumptions of his coaching style based on his wrestling ability. (or lack thereof showcased) I can only go off of what i read/hear through the grapevine like the rest of society. Bill Demott isn't worth my intensive research b. People, many many people said he treated them like ****. Now i don't just blindly listen to people i compare sides and what are considered "facts." If that was the case I would hate you based off what the majority of NT says about you...
You know what you are doing stop it or you will be reported
My dude MeanGene, how are you dealing with that Miz loss to Mr Ziggles on SmackDown?

Just because things sound crazy doesn't mean they are. It is all relative to the context of the video and the specificity of what this man is coaching. If Cartwright was employed as a shooting coach hell yeah I would think that franchise is doomed.
