– I heard several unconfirmed rumors late last month about AJ Styles possibly talking with WWE NXT or there being some kind of communication between the two sides. I reached out to a source that’s very close to New Japan Pro Wrestling and AJ, and he noted that they heard the rumors in Japan, towards the end of October as well, but word going around is that there’s nothing to them. Talents close to AJ in NJPW are under the impression that the rumors are just speculation and they believe he does not want to go to WWE.

Styles appeared on Taz’s podcast a few weeks back and indicated that he’s looking to make the best business decision for his family. He said:

“At this point in my career, I’m going to go do what’s best for my family and I want to do what’s best to provide for them. So, the business that we’re in, the business could be better somewhere else, then that’s where I’m going to go. That’s what I’m going to do. So, like I said, it’s a business plan. Wherever the plan takes me, that’s where I’ll go.”


Man..I'd love to see an AJ Styles/Seth Rollins feud

^ While it would be cool, I just don't see him getting paid less to go to NXT when he's a main eventer in NJPW.
 
These marks and their "MVP" chants are just like "This Is Awesome" chants, they need to go away until they're like halfway into the season when you can really get a gist of things

No problem with chants, but certain crowds are just brutal. It's better than silence or apathy, but This Is Awesome before anything even happens and dueling chants for the sake of dueling chants stinks
