Where should I travel Spring of 2016...

Trying to plan a surprise birthday gift for my wife and I in April or May of 2016...

Never been to any of these places before...looking for a nice place to relax, have some good drinks, do some sight-seeing, eat some good food, etc. (and catch a Dodgers game - wife is a Dodgers fan)

NYC

or

San Fran

or

Orlando/St. Petersburg

Well you can't go to a Dodgers game unless you're in LA lol. Sf gets my vote but I'm biased becuase I live here.

San Francisco.
Rent a car and drive by to LA and SD while you're at it.
How long is the vacation?

They do play away games but i get your point.

Dont go to orlando

True. Figured his wife wanted to be at the Dodgers stadium also but you're right.

I've heard of baseball fans trying to experience a game at all of the ball parks so she might want to do that. Both San fran and the yanks have "historic" ball parks so that could be part of it.

You can watch the Giants destroy the Dodgers while you visit..

Awesome, thanks guys.

And yeah, sorry, meant to include watching a Dodgers away game - I like going to different ball parks around the country.

Sounds like SF is the consensus.

There's been other sf threads made on places to visit but check out the norcal grub thread for places to eat.

NYC hands down
There's a spot on Linden blvd in East New York, Brooklyn that has everything you want.

The Louis H. Pink Houses
They have a rooftop lounge where you can sit back enjoy, enjoy the view of the city and sip on the world renowned "NYC Nutcracker" cocktail while basking in the cool NY breeze with a hint of the famous scent of "Sour Deisel" that can only be smelled in certain parts of NYC

Right across the street is the historic "Linden Chicken, Pizza and Ribs" as seen on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" as well as "Man vs. Food".
