Worst case you can find a large park or outdoor resort in your area and spend the majority of a weekend outside and away from it all, weather permitting. Sometimes peace and calm can be more refreshing than cramming your schedule in an attempt to get the most from your stay at a different city.

I would say just visit family, especially ones you haven't seen in awhile.

I'm going through **** also. Flying out to North Carolina in a few weeks to be with my nephews.
