☘️ Boston Celtics Official 2023-2024 Regular Season Thread ☘️

RJ has a lot of promise. His shooting and overall bball IQ should make him a legit contributor for years...

need a nationally televised game, man

i don't want to be a box score "fan"
Boston will make five appearances on ESPN this season: Dec. 9 vs Chicago, Jan. 13 vs Indiana, Feb. 19 at Utah, March 16 vs Oklahoma City and April 1 at Golden State.

The Celtics also get a pair of games on TNT: Nov. 24 at Atlanta and Jan. 7 at Chicago.

Have faith everyone! I really think good things are coming our way in the next couple of years. Look at how the Hawks have developed without a true franchise player.

Yes, and look how far it has gotten them. You need a true franchise player to get to the next level. The Hawks ceiling is being lucky to make the Eastern Conference Finals.

word...yeah i saw quite a few national games in December.

How the **** did the rockets wet the bed at home smh. Bad night overall for C's fans

You're right, it does look like it will be worth hanging on to the Brooklyn pick. However, quality centers rarely come on the market so I would be seriously tempted if I were Danny Ainge.

Smart and the Brooklyn pick for Boogie?

Thats a tough one. Id definitely consider it. Especially if that pick ends up as anything other than the #1

Smart is good and getting better but in no way am i convinced hes going to be a star

Boogie is a beast, no doubt. But to acquire him in a trade we'd have to give up a **** ton of assets. It would be Boogie and a bunch of scrubs. We'd be nowhere near contention. He hasn't proved to me he can carry a team to the playoffs. I think if we keep smart + Brooklyn pick and the other assets that we already have, we would be in a better position

Wow bruh. I forgot about that ****  Boogie bodied this man

I agree with this too. I can see both sides. I'm all in for a rebuild that is going to take a few years. I would also be okay if they acquired Cousins

Danny has done an excellent job providing this organization with flexibility via a **** load of draft picks. There's a lot of different ways they can approach this thing. In the meantime, they have other teams tanking for them while they develop their young guys and young coach :pimp:

Nice W tonight. Sully is really coming into his own playing with a lot of confidence.

Simmons is playing on ESPNU tonight at 9 for those who aren't familiar. You should be able to get a good glimpse during halftime of Cs/Rockets...

He's struggling to get minutes but when he does he's def a big factor on the boards. He all but forced Zeller out of the rotation.

Team is going to truly thrive around the all-star break when some squads start to wear down a bit...
