It's a good song but not as great as people are claiming it to be. She can and has done wayyyyyy better.

Adele is incredibly talented but personally I've always found her music some hot trash.

I can actually stand this song though, it's not bad at all.

Im glad she's making her return. Can't see her not dropping a legendary album again. Too much talent. This song is good I'm not hooked on it though

laugh.gif at the hate in here. Her voice is more powerful and impactful than any active artist right now. Hello is flames. You guys recognize the cat from the video? It's Michael from The Wire.

There's no way she'll come close to hitting Tay's numbers, especially when the first single was released just a few days ago and the album goes on sale in like 3 weeks. I don't think Hello is gonna have the same commercial success as Rolling In The Deep.....album sales are probably gonna reflect that.

I just looked back at some numbers, and what's crazy to me is that 21 only sold 350k first week even after Rolling in the Deep's success.

Drake sold 500k on a mixtape he announced on Twitter laugh.gif Don't know if it's because digital album sales weren't as popular 4-5 years ago or what.

Like Sam Smith, being white has benefited her a lot. There have been some good discussions about this on Twitter recently for those that aren't plugged into social media.

Can we leave race out of something for once?

Sam Smith is trash. If he was black he'd still be trash. And he likes men. Not that there's anything wrong with that but let's just state facts.
Adele being white has nothing to do with her success.

Her voice is angelic and somehow has the power to pierce your soul's most vulnerable pockets. That's what makes her universally acclaimed.

I remember like a month after my last breakup. I was partying in Denmark at a friend's wedding. I go to my room at 7 am and out of nowhere some drunk Dane blasts Adele on the speakers, as I'm trying to fall asleep. Suddenly, I get the rush of emotions and drunk dial my ex like 20 times on straight international rates. laugh.gif

Adele is a bad girl, man. Shorty has unbelievable talent.

Lianna La Havas is better

Why do people get upset about race being brought up, when the idea of race was created by ummm... whites?

Ya'll implemented it. Deal with the ramifications of it

I've been a huge Adele fan since 19 released. I was surprised that she remained relatively unknown until 21 came out, despite winning a Grammy for Chasing Pavements.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I believe her and Sam Smith have two of the most powerful voices of our generation. I understand they're both British and they have lots of hype associated with them, but I believe it's justified.

I was lucky enough to see Adele right after 21 came out at her show in Boston. She was truly incredible. Hearing "Hometown Glory" and "Someone Like You" live was unreal.

Her cover of Lady Antebellum's "Need You Tonight" with Darius Rucker from the CMAs a few years ago is also a must listen.

"Hello" is quite good, but I'm curious to hear the rest of 25; especially since she is now happy, in a relationship, and a mother. Certainly, no more sad love songs seem to relevant, so I want to see how she mixes it up.

I had no idea what Adele looked like when I first heard Someone Else Like You. I just knew her voice was mind blowing and deserved all the recognition it gets.

Seen her at Summerstage in Central Park couple years back.  Been my babyboo ever since.  Voice not ******* with Adele but she's exquisite in her own right.

Like what? Not liking Sam Smith? Man listen I was raised Earth, Wind, and Fire and Luther Vandross. Kci and Jojo, R. Kelly, Whitney Houston, Sam Cooke, Bill Withers, so I expect A LOT out of my singers. Hell, Usher isn't really all that too me. So, pardon me if Sam Smith does not appeal to me. His voice ain what I expect out of critically acclaimed singer.

I agree, "Stay With Me" was basically a hook. It had no lyrics that people recite.

This video is an insanely good look for my ___ Mack Wilds.

I like the song, and I'll definitely be checking out the album. Didn't know ol' girl fell back and created a family and all that.
