Did a lot of Lakers fans really want Porzingis though?

Only Kanye is preventing Lebby from being the lamest pop culture figure (I'm using that term broadly) going right now.

he really trying to act like he did nothing when we saw how many times have we seen him  disrespect his coach. pushing him away, etc etc.

i really cant believe this dude still  has fans.

I didn't really like him in Cleveland because he seemed rather fake. Once he went to Miami, it seemed like he was acting more like himself. The ego finally came out, the cheap shots at dirk, and all the other random stuff he pulled. I liked him while he was on Miami as it just seemed like he was not too concerned what people thought about his actions. Once he wrote that letter and gave that speech he gave at Akron upon his return, I was out again. There have been so many basketball players that have made a lot of money being the villain and a jerk to others. I don't get why he just doesn't embrace this inner attitude and let it out.

Based mostly on listening to LA Sports talk radio, I feel like Okafor was the consensus choice for Lakers fans. Honestly feel like I heard Mudiay brought up more than D-Lo. Never heard anything about Zinger though.

Actually, I probably have to put Blake ahead of both of those guys on the lameness scale. :frown:

At least neither of them are out beating up people much smaller than them and in the process rendering themselves unable to do their jobs.

I think PepperyourZingus would have had a more positive reaction in the city. NT is way different though. DeAngelo was labled a bust based off of his eyebrows

We should all be thankful the Lakers didn't draft Zing-God. Byron and Kobe might have ruined him.

A lot of people really don't understand that Kristaps while really good, and has potential. Is in the perfect role for him.

He's not this prospect in LA.

thats a hypothetical and a bad one at that

. sorry but i dont believe that.  someone with that talent and rare ability wouldnt have a hard time fitting in anywhere .

Is tonight the first time GSW and Dallas have played since the Mavs blew them out a few weeks back? If so, RIP Mavs (probably RIP Mavs regardless). I'm going Dubs by 30.

kristaps is real. love him. so mad the lakers past him up. hella envious. f dlo.

. i like towns dont get me wrong i, but i just love how porzingus carries himself.

Imagine if the Lakers did end up drafting him ahead of Jah and Dlo. Laker fans would have been so pissed.

But as a Sixers fan, I really do wish we drafted him. I sooo cheesed during draft day. He would have fitted in perfectly with Noel.

If that's true it is for reasons having to do with the Lakers and not Porzingis' talent and ability.

Ty Lue says Tristan Thompson will remain in starting lineup because he plays better as a starter

K-Love, you're next to go . . .

Part of what makes Kristaps good is that he can flourish in any role as a 4 or a 5. He's an elite shot blocker, doesn't need the ball in his hands to impact the game on offense and has a really well rounded game. Even Byron and Kobe couldn't hold back KP or Towns.

Porzingawd ain't gonna flourish with Byron's goofy coaching a**

He's in a good situation with the Knicks

Zen Master and Fish gonna mold him

a real PG will take Kristaps to the next level.

Right now it's a lot of back to the basket for him. He could hit the fade or hook cause of his length but he doesn't look 100% comfortable with it. A Melo/KP pick & roll has been damn near unstoppable but we rarely run it thanks to the Verizon store manager we call coach.
