Any chance Curry will be in the discussion for Most Improved Player? Averaging 9 more ppg over last year and who's going to argue he hasn't made great improvements over last season's run? Either way I think it's a crazy situation, being if I were to just tell you the previous season's MVP would be the very next season's Most Improved Player. Just knowing that situation and not knowing the player involved, it's just wild to think about.

You Dubs fans are getting soo damn greedy

Not really necessary for your big man to be your first option in today's nba. Today's offense is perimeter oriented as hell. Better for your big guy to be a 3 and D guy with playmaking ability that can guard as many positions as possible.

It has never been necessary for your
Big Man to be your first option.

1908 ain't walking through that door

Man Blake Griffin has the highest usage rate on the Clippers this season and it's not even Close. He also accounts for over 35% of all field goals made on LAC this season and again, it's not even close. Blake also accounts for 33% of the team's total points, again that's the highest number on the team and it isn't even close. That includes CP. I don't know where you got that the offense runs through CP. The idea that the offense runs through CP is such a lazy notion and stance.

Again, for comparison sake, Draymond's Usage percentage is at a staggering 15%. So if that number were to go from 15 to 31%, that team would win 57 games?

if cp is a first option on your squad , that squad is in trouble...
I don't know about "trouble" but you probably wouldn't win a championship with it. But then again, KD is a #1 option and hasn't won one either. But it's a moot point because CP isn't the first option on the Clippers

if your team consists of cp and blake you aint winning anything PERIOD
they shouldve blown that team up. still dont know why they gave deandre all that money. we know he isnt gonna be effective against a team with a decent big. they want to say his FTs wont effect them or his min in the 4th, but you cant trust him on the floor in crunch time

blake is a first option that can take you to the playoffs,  but can you win a chip with him as your first option..he hasnt and its  highly unlikely that he can but hey i once thought dirk couldnt win a chip as a first option.....

You don't have to be the leading scorer on your team for the offense to run through you. Thought it was obvious that CP is the one that makes the offense go. The point guard is way more vital than the big man in today's nba

He's 26, and with the improvements he's made on his jumper, he'll be in his prime for a good amount of time. I'm not saying you're wrong, but he's young enough to where, he could be the first option on a championship team. Whether that be on the Clips or somewhere else.

But even with that, a lot of great first options don't win championships man.

Usage % has nothing to do with who's the team's leading scorer.

Percentage of Team's  points has nothing to do with who's the team's leading scorer.

Both of those are solid reflectors of who the offense runs through and in that regard, it's blake and it's not even close. This isn't conjecture, or opinion. These are facts.

Then that probably explains your troubles in the playoffs.

Damn do you guys really think that lowly of CP and Blake?

Not quite. (Btw this was abt Draymond and Blake, not the Clippers playoff troubles but I dig it. I'll let it ride)

Guys like Kobe and Jordan ruined the NBA fan because they have been mytholigized to a point where people actually think you win and lose with your best players in the postseason and it's just so much more than that.

CP and Blake have been great in the postseason for the most part. Whether it's Blake throwing up triple doubles left and right, or CP giving you 25 & 15 in a game 7, etc. they have been very good. That's not to say that they are not w/o fault, but it's a lot more than the offense running through blake.

You win and lose in the playoffs with your buy low guys. Your role players and of course luck. In that regard, our role players haven't been up to par for the duration of a postseason.

We've seen what happens to OKC when Ibaka is out. And you want to replace him with DAVID WEST? They'd be in the running for the worst defensive team in the league lol. Veteran leadership (in the form of David West) ain't winning you a title. Plus, they have veteran leadership, especially in Durant and Collison.

But sure, trade away Durant's second longest-tenured teammate, and a vital part of their team. See how that goes when it's time for free agency.
Bruh I can care less about OKC, hell I hope they miss the playoffs again. All I care about are my Spurs. I want Ibaka on the Spurs, that's all.
