StillIn in the NBA thread!? :wow:

Weird isn't it. Ha ha ha

HIM HIM you know what. During last year the Clippers were on at the time the NBAs longest winning streak. They came to DC and lost. At that moment I did say Wall was better. We started 20-9 and were rolling. Walls numbers were just as good if not better after that head to head meeting. As the season progressed CP3 had the better season and Wall fell back a bit. We had a lot of issues in mid season. My opinion changes as the facts do. If that's what your talking about cool. My question is why must I stick with my narrative when things have changed? I'm not gonna continue to push a narrative that is obviously wrong. Whoever you believe the best player in the league is, if he fell off a cliff I wouldn't hold you to that narrative forever. Facts have changed. Why hold me to that standard?

Alright, to avoid further derailment let me explain agin why the wiz record vs the west was posted

Western conference teams play eastern conference teams twice a year.

Western conference teams play western conference teams 3 or 4 times a year.

If the wiz played in the west they would play 52 games vs western conference teams. They currently have a winning percentage of 36% vs the west.

Multiply that percentage by 52 games and That would be about a 19-33 record vs the west.
Now multiply their .538 winning percentage vs the east by the remaining 30 games..

That's comes out to about a 16-14 record vs the east.

That is a 35-47 record. Or a .430 winning percentage. Utah (the 8th seed) currently has a winning percentage of .450.

I was trying to put to rest your claim that the wiz would make the playoffs if they played in the west. If the wiz were beating up on western teams and then losing games against tough east teams then I would agree with you but that is not the case. You can't say the wiz would make the playoffs in the east because they beat up on eastern teams

Team USA Roster 2016 (my opinion)

Curry
Paul George
Durant
Lebron
Ant Davis

Paul
Harden
Kawhi
Draymond
Drummond

Pick 2 of these 5 for last two spots

Blake Griff
Westbrook
Wall
K Love
Lamarcus

I fail to see how anyone could put Harden on a USA roster. Educate me. I understand he gets buckets, but too much of a liability on defense.

The West plays more games vs the West teams. There are more weaker teams in the West. It works both ways. The top of the West get to eat more against weaker West teams then the East does. The argument works in reverse but it's not factored in. It's left out to bolster your argument. Your not wrong but incomplete. If GS loses tonight they'd have more loses to the East then West. Half of the Spurs loses are to the East.

If the Spurs finish ahead of the Warriors & still have the league's best defense, is Kawhi the MVP & DPOY?

Fair enough. But that also means if wall is better next year or the east is the better conference next year you can't come in here and say "i told you guys this two years ago" if we agree that cp3 and the west is better today then you can't claim victory if/when jt changes next season. That's all I'm saying

Another great discussion, sir :pimp:

Kyrie only got 3 years without LeBron.

In Wall's first 3 years the Wizards failed to win even 30 games in all 3 years.

It's an apples to oranges comparison. We can't say definitively say that Wall is a franchise changer & Kyrie isn't.

We definitely can considering that wall has played more than 3 seasons. It's not apples to oranges. Wall has lead his team to the playoffs with far less talent. Myrie has NEVER at any point shown he can lead a team to the playoffs. He hasn't even shown that he can get his team anything besides top 5 picks

Wall did not even sniff the playoffs until year 4.

In Kyrie's 4th year his team had LeBron James on it.

Apples to oranges.

^ Exactly

and I would run him out with the second squad of CP, Kawhi, Dray - they could cover for him.

I've seen Harden play and tried to give him the benefit of a doubt on his defense, dude defense is straight awful. It's like he don't even try when once you get pass him, no follow up defense, no box out, dude is the worst. I'd rather pick up super cool Michael Beasley over Harden real talk.

Team USA isn't going to allow Harden (or anyone else for that matter) to not try on defense. Players can get away with it on their NBA teams, but not for Team USA.

Really? I think only on game days for NFL

I'll come in here and a few hours later it's 10 pages passed so I don't bother

During the season, I'm usually only in here when I'm actively watching games. Otherwise it's impossible to keep up.
