I think we give Irving to much credit. He played 71 games in 2013-14 season and averaged 20 points. Truth is he scores no better then Wall does. His career high is 6 assist a game and 3 rebounds. Everything Wall does is better. Even though he has a better jumper his point averages aren't any better. To compare them is laughable.

This?
This again ignores the context. If a superstar came to the Wizards after Wall's 4th season, then his narrative is the same as Kyrie's. It's an apples to oranges comparison. Period.
Part of changing a franchise is staying on the court man.

Which wall has done...and Kyrie hasn't been able to consistently at this point. The beginning of the 2013-2014 season, virtually every major sporting publication had Kyrie Irving and the Cavs making the playoffs in the weak East....and Kyrie was ranked by ESPN as the 8th BEST PLAYER in the NBA. That season actually saw people get low on him....and exposed him as an over dribbling pg who was GREAT at breaking down the defense...but had tunnel vision and couldn't stay healthy. Not to mention being horrible on defense.

Kyrie is truly an SG. He played SG in college, he's virtually playing SG next to Bron now. As I've said earlier...he's more valuable when he's a #2 option and a secondary ball handler.

Kyrie played PG at Duke

Nolan Smith didn't know what to do playing off the ball in the games Kyrie was in

Nolan smith handled the majority of the PG duties during Kyrie's 11 game stint. He was the Senior PG coming off a National championship. Kyrie played more off the ball.

That's false b. Nolan Smith didnt really run the 1 until irving went down that year. nolan didnt even run the 1 the year before either.

The person ignoring context is you. The fact is a superstar did NOT come to Washington and the wiz are now a playoff team. Period. To say Wall changed his franchise would be a fact. And then to even suggest Wall's health has any bearing in this conversation while talking about Kyrie is hilarious
