Why the hell would they try to trade their 2nd overall pick halfway into his rookie year :x

What do they even expect to get out of it.

I'll wait for more confirmation, but based on the tweets Aldridge getting in is :rolleyes .
Who else got snubbed? Honestly he hasn't been as bad as NT made him out to be. He's acclimated faster than I would have thought
I'm just not trying to see Aldridge launch 20 footers for the 11 minutes he's going to play.

I made this exact point a year or two ago in regards to aldridge in the ASG game and leople lost their mind

Dirk better get one more ASG nod before he hangs it up. He's a legend.

Gus Johnson and the Bucks at 4 and Peaches at 3, I can dig it

tbh the last two season is the most League Pass basketball I've watched in my life... and getting a taste of pretty much all the local broadcast crews, I've come to really appreciate the job that Napear and Jerry do.
I concur, my goodness Boston's announce crew is bad.

He's better than anyone they have, but not sure Teague is enough to put Utah in the playoffs.

I think that team would surge with a PG even of Jeff Teague's caliber. I'm not like high on him, just a fan of him being a consistent starter in the league for sure, and one that can give you repeated competent play - but shouldn't ever cost you that much. Bargain, in that sense.

No it hasn't. Only thing proven is GSW can beat hobbled and broke down teams in every single round of the playoffs.

If he missed they didn't matter.

Bro why are you citing the warriors, as if he didn't shoot under 40% for the entire series against the Bulls.

Apparently Utah is offering Trey Burke, Alec Burks and a pick for Jeff Teague
that's a lot for an slightly above average PG

It's a weird trade to me. It seems like a lopsided trade on both sides, depending which angle you look at it at.

The light-up red 3-point line should be real, and be scorching hot. So that when a player commits the sin of a long two his kicks are burnt and everyone knows.

Is that guy even a legit source? I have my doubts about that.

But giving up on a 19-year-old PG playing in the worst situation possible (Kobe, Lou Will, Swaggy as teammates, Byron Scott as the head coach) would be the height of stupidity.

Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell is reportedly being made available in trade talks. Woah. (via @hoopscritic)

WOW

WOW

"People around the league."

This could literally be anyone. Sounds like a cheap ploy to get more traffic.

he would just end up crying about having to play backup to westbrook so might as well get some value for him

I will give him some slack in this regard, but to be honest Kobe takes off nights and halves in a lot of cases. I've always thought Lou Williams was somewhat of a rare commodity but he's really had a sluggish year, which really started during last year's playoffs. He averaged more than five threes per game in that 4-game run w/ TOR in last year's playoffs, and shot 19% on those. Nineteen.

Thing is, unless your name is Dennis Rodman, you're generally not drunk when you're playing games in the NBA. So that makes the off-court incident a little different.

Or Ron Artest. He used to leave the United Center at half and grab pints of henny and sip on it at Half

The guy who reported that DeAngelo is available in trade is Brian Geltzeiler. He's a host on Sirius' NBA channel. I've listed to his show and think that he generally knows his stuff. Whether he actually has legit sources for stuff like this, I have no idea. But he does have a job with a recognized NBA partner and does interview real NBA people on his radio show regularly.

Yeah but while Lebron is still very good, his lack of shooting will be their downfall in the east.
It's like KD said in a recent interview, playing can get boring man.

Lebron will make those Jump Shots when it matters, he will.

sidenote: Westbrook shooting like 24% from 3pt right now. He that bad? Nah, just bored man

that theory has already been proven false. maybe in 2012

And ......I can't wait until OKC wins so you can jump on the OKC bandwagon.

I wish Spurs would win so you have to cheer for them as well.

I hope one year soon the Utah Jazz wins so you can convince people you "love the style they play with" and have to rock Utah gear.

I hope all the worst most boring franchises win so you don't have a cool team to cheer for, except the Pistons

I love westbrook though, I'd love it if he won. so that wouldn't bother me at all. I dont root against okc, i want them to flourish. i love russ and dj. i dont really like kd personality, but i dig his game. only ever rooted for the spurs against lebron. its usually f them dudes doh. pass on the jazz too. too boring lol. i like good basketball though, so if i find entertainment and theres nobody on your team that i dont like, i'll show love no doubt. unless they play the lakers. the 2 games the lakers played gsw it was **** those yellow bass turds for 48 minutes. i was roasting everything i typically ignore. draymond mouf. all those moving pics, klay aspergers. lol.

it's no secret my team is pretty hard to watch right now. i still want to enjoy watching hoops outside of the struggle ball the buss family has put together, so i watch and root for who i like. it's not like a conflict of interest, we're bottom 3 in the league lol.

And you think you're right? Trading the kid is beyond stupid

When did I ever say they should trade him now? I just said it's hilarious basically. ****, the Hawks didn't even get out form under Adriean Payne, the 18th pick, until mid-February and Russell is being made available possibly/Lakers receptive to trade proposals possibly?

Oh wait, if you look back on the previous page, there are actually words and sentences there that might interest you where I talk about how dumb it would be to trade him right now (but it was a dumb decision to take him initially).
