Is this the only year in a long time where there seems to be no competition for MVP? Maybe one or two of those bron mvps too? Last year it was steph/harden and bron to an extent through the stretch, but this year its a clear cut blowout.

We're discussing this through text, but on record...Steph and Kawhi deserve consideration while the actual award should go to C.J. McCollum. Increased his scoring by 14 PPG, while shooting a higher FG% despite the heavily spiked usage. 44% on 18.5 shots per game is pretty damn good. Close to 40% from 3PT range. Steal per game, and gets a respectable amount of rebounds/assists. Lock it up, chief.
 
I don't see Curry as improved. He's just having a better season. What I mean is what skill does he have now he didn't last season? If DMC continues his January pace he has a legit shot at MIP too. Who are the players beside CJ that's showing us a season we didn't know they had in them?
 
Curry is probably having the greatest offensive season ever. At least in the modern NBA era.

I would say LeBron in 2009, 2010 and 2012 weren't particular close.

Not calling you a liar but when I worked with the Clippers the rule was you couldn't stay for psotgame unless you were designated as a family/friend. Then they would all be moved behind the basket near the visitor's tunnel until the players came out.

Cool thing about being a lakers fan is that unlike teams such as the thunder, rockets, and clippers is that they're actually supposed to suck right now. For those other aforementioned teams, this is considered their version of a dynasty :rofl:.
