If that were the case...don't you think that would prevent him from going there in the first place? He would be SIGNING there...making the choice to go there. I'd like to think common sense says that if he made a conscious decision to join that team...that he understands things would be different.

Like I said, you can tell yourself I'm not gonna have a problem being the 2nd or 3rd option. But when the game is on the line and you're the 4th option how are you gonna feel? Not saying Durant would do that but egos are real. You can't just ignore human nature when putting a team together.

Just look at how much Lebron and Dwade struggled to figure out who was the alpha and they were damn near best friends.

Right. Is he a beta or not?

He's a beta on a team with Westbrook but if you put him golden state now we're worried about their being too many alphas?

Pick one

It would be kd/steph with elite coaching/role players compared to kd/russ with scrubs and scrub coaching. C'mon now

I must have missed that struggle because anyone with two eyes can see that Bron was the primary weapon from day one until he left.

I saw Steph kick it to Dray who kicked it to Barnes open at 3 against the 76ers a few weeks back to win the game. These guys care abut the best look, not who's the best player.

yeah , players care about stats and have big egos . stop comparing the spurs, duncan did other things besides score.. they think kd going to take chris bosh role. it doesnt work like that.

nope. wade said he would be the 2nd option after that finals loss against the mavs. wade and him struggled until that decision. wade was the main dude lebrons first year with the heat. you wrong on that one homie.

except the first year in crunch time/clutch moments. That was dwade time. bron missed hella gamewinners that season.

It's incredible that some of you refuse to believe that there are unselfish basketball players that exist. You're also ignoring the big picture and focusing on your argument on trivial **** like "who takes the last shot". Who ******* cares? You run the best play and make the best decision. The way some of y'all view basketball in these "who's the man" situations is mind boggling.

The Spurs have had three hall of famers leading them to the best records in sports period for the past decade and some. How many times have they clashed over who takes the last shot?

And technically here...we're talking about two "superstars". Klay and dray aren't superstars.

Exactly.

"Who takes the last shot" is really what the concern is here?

You're suffering from revisionist history

it aint happening either way. no way in hell kd goes to gs. its nice to talk about though. i do think it could work  now though. some of you make some good points. kd isnt a ball dominant scorer.

Kevin Durant isn't James Harden. He's not ball dominant. KD is one of the top 3 players in the League. You plug him in ANYWHERE, and it's a success.

The thing about KD that people seem to forget is that he's not a ball dominant player. He can get his at anytime without dominating the ball.

GSW offense is actually perfect for KD. KD from a few years ago was one for the most assisted players in the L. He can score off of pin downs, curls, fast break...etc.

A 1/3 P&R with Steph & KD.....and Klay on the weak side with Dray as an outlet is an absolute nightmare :x. Pick your poison. Not to even mention the potential "death lineup".

Honestly, it wouldn't be fair if KD went to the Warriors. I'm hoping it doesn't happen...but if it does....we can only pray.

I do believe he would much prefer to play in a system. That's why I think he would fit perfectly in ATL, TOR, or BOS.

I hope it happens!

^^^ at least you can admit you're wrong in a round about way.

Can't believe dudes in here are really talking about "who takes the last shot"....with the Warriors :smh:

 you can carve a stat for anything you want. Way too many factors to actually be considered.

Anybody who watched them play and tries to deny the cape DWade has put on over the years is bogus/lying to themselves.

I remember those games against SAS where Wade put on the cape, and Bron came through off Wade's sauce and started hitting shots. FInished with a "better" statline, but it was obvious these cats were getting bounced without Wade's performance

edited my post. when people make good points i have no problem changing my mind.

Yep...you missed it. You could see it on court and Dwade has openly discussed it. They would defer to each other so much the offense would break down. Dwade took the back seat after that loss to the Mavericks and it took off from there.

The numbers say that Lebron not only attempted more game winners but made more too. I don't know how much carving is needed there. That's just a black and white truth

I still say Ujiri is plotting on Durant. If they move around enough salary to be able to keep DD, I believe theyre the sleeper team for KD's services

Ty Lawson has a lot of other personal issues going on, which won't be solved by just going to another team/city.

DUI TY.....

Man, he was arguably the best player on my nuggets 56 win team in 2012-2013.

Ty just loves to party man. Seen him a few times out in DC bent. He's had a good long career. Honestly, there's not more he can do. Hopefully he's stacking his $$ and not giving it to that Bad Grils club chick that he made his BM. She's bad AF though. I can see why he hit that raw :smh:
