Seems like I need to post the NT rating system again "average" is the second highest rating we can give a player behind GOAT

Btw is younger, greeker nick batum a superstar yet? I thought the bucks were full of young talent and going to be top 3 in the east this year

Remember when Rudy Gilbert was going to be revolutionize defence and block more people than a-friend?

And since we're on that topic and I just saw him post not too long ago, @leemelone you still slangin' that nonsense about the Celtics having trash picks and other assets? Still slandering what they got going on over there? You were pretty adamant about that, and I don't roll in here like I used to, so just seeing if you finally came around.

I mean their current assets are still pretty trash. It was proven last year when ainge couldn't work a deal for nann one of em. Looks like he may not make a deal at the deadline either. Isn't that the point of assets, to make deals? I'm hesitant to prop them up too much because you look at the standings and they could be lottery bound in a week. Charlotte was in their spot not too long ago. I always said there's no harden, kg/ray allen type deal to be made. Not with their current assets at least. Or did that go down and I missed it?

They make the playoffs, win at least one game and walk away with a top 3 pick I'll give them their cookie.

They don't, you gonna be in here giving me props?

I think those things were most just coming from awwesome.

To bad he's not around anymore, he was a good counterweight to all the people on here who love to call players trash and overrated since he loved to crown everyone as the next big thing. He brought some balance to the Force, even if he was a welcher.

lolol not sure if already posted but the clippers were reenacting the Paul Pierce getting shanked incident during lineup intros, hahaha

I would say most of the tradition of calling players trash comes from people initially overhyping the players.

Chris Paul and Lebrun wouldn't get nearly as much hate if they had not been majorly overrated by major news outlets

You have fans expecting rookies to carry a franchise when most likely they will be a borderline Allstar

People don't actually think these guys are trash, they just understand that not every new kid on the block is the best thing ever. We bring balance to the casual fans natural inclination to overrate everything they see.

how is this even funny. seems corny af .lets make fun of the time you almost died .lol.
I concur.  Pierce easily could've died that night if not for having on a heavy leather jacket and being so close to a hospital.  Truly had guardian angels.

Him getting shanked isn't the funny part, but how dumb Lance and Deandre are in the vid. Lance looks like he forgot to take his Ritalin.

I saw the video on deadspin this morning and was ready to laugh but then I saw how much of a reach it was. Who swings a knife int hat motion? You got a blake tucked in between your fingers while you make a fist?

Yo what's up with quoting people w/o mentioning their username? Is that a form of disrespect or is my phone broken?

If I respond fast enough I'm not gonna bother quoting, they know who I'm talking to.

If I'm just chopping up their post it's easier on mobile to just select the key part than it is to quote and then chop.

Bruh you said the Lakers would be a fringe team or some **** like that. I think the OG convo had something to do with comparing Philly/Celtics/Lakers situation. So you already down on the scorecards.

I agree it ain't over yet since the rest of the season has to shake out and let's see how the dominoes fall in place. My argument was Ainge has done about as good of a job you can do in the current landscape to rebuild/retool while making real progress and improvement.

He's re-upped guys on team friendly deals and made excellent trades. Rondo and KG/Pierce get all the attention, but there's also smaller flips which have been damn near just as good. He's got a great young coach in place leading them for a while. It's just a matter of cashing in on the right guy and some luck in the lottery.

They look a hell of a lot better than you're giving them credit for. That's all I'm sayin'.

If I was Ainge, I don't know that I'd be looking to do anything major mid-season. Only real priority would be to flip Lee into something more useful. I think they're a second round team as currently constructed, possibly even ECF if things break right for them. They have great chemistry and depth and play hard. I wouldn't break that up yet. And a solid playoff run by them could make them more attractive to impact FAs.
