Penny Hardaway is coaching a boy's basketball team at a local Memphis high school.

Can you imagine Penny Hardaway or any of your NBA idols growing up being your high school coach? :wow: I'm sure the majority of these kids were just being born post Penny's Magic career, but still that's huge.

Its only relevant and a branding to management. Most kids wont know or care.

Guys here over analyzing things. I guess that‘s fine and another subjective subject in itself.

What constitutes chemistry though?

All this GSW propaganda, and guys out here saying how teams lack this and that because they aint coming out games with a W. lol
Chemistry, like I said is when players on the team knows their own teammates tendencies and they take that into considerations and cover their flaws with their advantage.

The intangibles that is not on paper. You watch Warriors play basketball for 48 minutes, now watch those teams that were named, watch them play basketball.

You'll see chemistry and intangibles. You'll see adaptations and intelligent basketball.
poiny is, he does not care about what you or i think about him. he plays, he doesnt back peddle because he is scared to be posterized. he plays.....

guys getting overly brainwashed by sportscenter.
Yeah, but unfortunately, only time I watch ESPN is when the games are actually on.

Last time I've watched any segments of ESPN or what so ever, was probably 2 years ago, if even.

Yes, Pau plays.... but does he plays for his teammates or he just... PLAYS.

That is the question.

Yups.. Seen this talk all too often with Sportscenter. While I understand that winning cures everything, people are now looking at the Warriors‘ success as the new benchmark and definition of "chemistry".

Before it was the Spurs, and how they did better than the Heats, how they had more "chemistry". What I‘m seeing here is just a lot of talk and panic when fans expect their teams to be at so and so record.

Now suddenly chemistry is taking blame?

Now suddenly all other teams have no chemistty because they are winning below expectations? lol

This is the legit propaganda I am talking about.

One thing though, I can under chemistry needing time, and how a new coach can reset things. But come on. These guys do a lot of praticing, film study, etc, scrimmaging together. Chemistry ain‘t some unachievable thing.

Team Usa didnt need 82 games to develop chemistry, but you get the point.

Right, I get your point. Definitely, new coach, new minutes, new line ups, new systems, Chemistry isn't gonna come quickly, I understand that.

A little hasty, sure but when the problem continues game by games that makes it into a habitual repetition, that doesn't work for the team as the season progresses.

I can see maybe Hoiberg will learn from his mistakes. Okay. But at least, at the very least, the players should hold themselves accountable.

Rings are irrelevant when it comes to a new team. A new beginnings. Does Pau still plays like when he wont those rings?
No.

I agree, but bottom line who is really to blame? The big names? The leader? The bench? Guess why they blame it on "chemistry".

Blame game doesn‘t stop.

Jay King @ByJayKing
David Lee: "I think we match up well with Golden State. ... Those guys are going to have a battle on their hands."

Chris Fedor @ChrisFedor
#Cavs J.R. Smith is ill & will not travel with #Cavs to Orlando. He could join them later and still play tomorrow night. He's questionable.

Bobby Marks @BobbyMarks42
Besides possibly having the #1 pick, PHI basically bought insurance and have the right to swap with SAC if the Kings land w/ a top pick.

Jason Lloyd @JasonLloydABJ
Irving, Shump could play on Cavs upcoming road trip: https://t.co/Ioti4sCaue
