dumbest post of the day.. lebron will always be serviceable. He will always have his bball IQ and court vision that will never go away pair that along with his big frame and it should be no question

i dont know about bball iq. lbj always gonna be labeled for buddying up

Wait...yall can criticize Lebron for A LOT of things...b-ball IQ ain't one of them.

Just because Stephs Dfense is sus, its not taking away from his offensive prowess. Best offensive player at the moment but a below average defender. It is what it is. He has a supporting casts that really makes it a non issue but you can't rewrite the story.

Sure you can, when the "story" is not accurate. The idea that Steph is suspect on defense is just that - a story. The facts don't back it up. He's an above-average defender at his position. Elite or lock down? No. But definitely serviceable.
Elite and lockdown are made up categories. You are a. Above average = they put you on opposing teams best player, b. Average = you only get switched if your man is the other teams best player or c. They put you on the other teams weaker players. Its no disrespect to Steph because he is his teams best player offensively, but average at best on the defensive end.

This discussion has been going on for a long long time.

LBJ‘s success has always been about his physical play. That in itself is good enough. As he ages, he‘ll have to rely on wizadry. That is when BBALL iq comes in.

agreed his ball iq is highly overrated.

Speaking of made up categories

It's like calling Conley a below average defender cause the Grizzlies would put Tony Allen on CP3. Or LBJ a weak defender cause Miami would put Battier on the tougher offensive assignment. Come on bro.

bron doesnt make his teammates better either. that's the biggest crock of horse **** thats been said through out his career.

Agreed. Ol' holding the ball for 20 seconds and making a move at 21 seconds douche. Getting a favorable switch with a smaller guy/big man on him and he takes a long 3 instead of going to the hole. Having smaller guys with better post games than him. Not listening to his coaches. Etc.

IQ overrated af

There's really nothing you can say to lebron detractors who believe that he's gotten to this point purely off his physicial ability.

Thats...incredible

exactly dudes act like hes steve nash or j kidd with the passing. nah. hes mr drive and kick.

bron top 5 athlete all time. no question. but skill for skill, dude legit never even got the fundamentals of basketball down. He cant go a single play without traveling or committing a foul. He can't dribble. He can't shoot. those are day 1 lessons they teach to 5 yr olds.

facts this cant be refuted.

Lebron is the best passer in the league regardless of how you feel about him

Woah. Chris Paul STILL plays in the league. And John Wall is right up there too. Rubio, Rondo....I don't know if I could agree Bron is flat out the best. Definitely top 5 though

So lebron not skilled now?

He "never got the fundamentals down"?

Damn did you read anything I posted? LOL That's what happens with above average defenders, they get tougher assignments. U ain't gotta worry about that with Steph..

I don't expect this to change anyone's mind. Sure lebrons throws shot clock bombs. All ball dominant wings do.

I'd take lebrons vision simply because at 6'9" he sees the floor better.

i never said he wasn't skilled, i said 'skill for skill', meaning he has skills, but if you take each skill he has and judge them against other, with all things being equal, meaning, excusing the athleticism for a minute, then his skills come out weaker. That's all. His athleticism is what makes him special, not necessarily his basketball skills. He is a gifted passer. But besides passing and his physical gifts, can you name any other strengths? I mean clearly he has found a way to fully utilize all that he has, we're just having a conversation, this isn't about hate. just fact and fabrication.

and bro..his fundamentals are awful. You serious? That's not even hate. It's facts. He he seriously flawed in some of the most basic concepts. He hasn't learned anything since he uttered 'crab dribble' on live television.

we all know lebron's jumpshot is doodoo cheeks

his footwork is awful but he gets away with it because they let him travel all the time

His handles are:

i dont see where this "skill" can be found
