I believe that he will continue his good play ....

Is not easy to be out of a sport for almost 3 years due to injuries that prevent you from training and expect a human to come back in tip top shape ...

No. Because wall has been doing this since the moment he stepped on an NBA court. Furthermore, he's the entire offense for his team. Reggie can't claim that.
 
Hmm that's a good question. It's not just the NBA hall of Fame. He's a Chinese basketball legend. He's the only reason i know who the Beijing Ducks are.

He has a Gold statue, a postage stamp, and now a museum.

If you discount that horrible game against Philly where he started turning the corner afterwards in terms of his play, he's shooting .41 & .31 from field and 3 this month.

Compared to November 14.9/4.1/3.6 on .293/.206/.824

Not many because the PG position is score first now. Dudes can score but can they run offense and get their teammates open shots constantly? Reggie Jackson for example would probably score more points then Wall as a Wizard but the whole team would suffer for it. The guys being compared to John don't have half the responsibility he does.

Rondo, Conley, CP3 are the only ones I can think of who are pass oriented with playmakers on the team.

Wall is averaging close to 20 & 10 this season with an injury prone inconsistent SG, a not yet ready Otto Porter, and a good...but aging Gortat. And Jared Dudley playing major starting minutes at the 4.

Wizards lack of depth and injuries are hurting them this year. They've lost a ton of close games too...and have been downright inconsistent this season. Beat Cleavland on the road, then lose to the Lakers at Home the next game :smh:.

Wall is an All NBA/ALL Defensive/ALL Star caliber PG. Not many of those in this league.
 



I imagine the NBA will crack down on the gun gestures (See Gerald Green) even harder now.

Only on NT does a pg get flack for getting assists... I used to HATE that argument against Boston Rondo.. Haaaaated it.

Basically.. Reggie Jackson is cool and all, better than everybody thought.. But he's still not seeing Wall..
 
Having a pass first point guard as one of your top 2 players while paying him the max as never really worked out lately and isn't as valuable as one may think. If I creating a team and trying win a ring, I'm not sure how high I would choose them.

It hasn't but besides Curry who's a All Time great player regardless of position has a score first PG being a teams first or second best player won? Maybe Parker but he gets his assist and runs a beautiful offense.
