Well, when compared to the great vacation destination of Oakland...

Daprescription, acidility, Paul is on NT were cool Warriors fans to have back and forths withs back in the day. What happened to them?

gsw fans are die hard since 2013.  them snoop dogg type fans. we have some here that make up some dumb excuse to be a fan of the warriors and the lakers.

Then you got the coaches who are overrated and think of themselves in the Pop and Carlisle class, but are actually closer to the retread category. (Hint on who I'm thinking of - he works across the hall from Byron).

Glenn has been over rated for years.
 
Anton may be overrated but at least he helped develop DJ. Vinny was letting him rot on the bench :smh:

Partly, it's a function of thread size.  With most other releases, there's one thread per colorway.  It's a bigger problem when you have one massive thread for an entire year's worth of releases. 

We've had similar issues when dealing with the NBA Playoff thread during the Finals, for example.  When you have thousands of people accessing the same 1,000+ page thread, many of whom are viewing more than the default number of posts per page and keeping multiple tabs open, each of which pings the site constantly to check for new updates, it all adds up.  

As some may recall, we experienced some unscheduled downtime a few days back.  (You may have seen a maintenance screen regarding a site update.)  The team actually modified the page code to reduce a potential bottleneck, but we still needed some extra help to reduce the strain.  Temporarily disabling the new post notifier was deemed preferable to additional downtime or instability.  


It's a feature we all love and have come to rely upon, so we of course want to reinstate it as quickly as possible.  I'm hopeful that we'll have the opportunity to do so early next week.

I will give him credit for that. He's made more out of DJ than I ever expected. But otherwise, his track record while with the Clips of getting the most out of players -- particular the ones he himself has brought in -- is pretty piss poor. The only Doc acquisition that has met and arguably exceeded expectations is JJ. Other than that, all disappointments. Some of which he has made even worse by then getting rid of those players for virtually nothing, like Jared Dudley. And potentially Spencer Hawes and Matt Barnes, if Lance continues to do nothing.
 
The Bryon slander needs to cease...he'll get a statue right next to Magic out front after he delivers a 2nd straight top 3 pick.
