On paper I don't think okc or San antone is much better than lac. It's testicular fortitude and the lack of it that stymies that team
Don't know about testicles or anything like that but yeah the overall point I agree with. LAC should be able to keep up with those two teams

They played GSW tough twice already and choked big time at the end of both games

But all frisco said was they they were too talented to continue to play sub-500 ball. You tried to make it something else

They kept up with GSW twice but they also lost to dallas, toronto, portland, and PHX. Expectations should be very low for this team.

The clippers will start to look better when Chris Paul does.

His adv numbers have gone from elite to just good.

At just 30 years old, he should have a couple more elite years left.

But if this is the best he can muster, then this team is out in round 1.

I also won't be worried about Pierce until January or so. At 38 he could just be playing himself into shape. Or he could really be washed. Time will tell.
So basically, the Clippers could be good or they could be bad
Yea. I'm hesitant to write off anyone just one month into the season.

Huh? Seems like you're the one making it into something else

I asked him a simple question

Expectations should never be low for a CP3, Blake, DJ led team. That's rubbish. Unless you're saying those 3 guys aren't as good as they're made out to be

Clippers are the nba's wizard of oz. No nuts no heart no brains. No oil. The curtain has been pulled. The jig is up
Maybe so. It's crazy to think this team was up 3-1, a single win away from the conference finals... with a worse bench than they have this year

Yea. I'm hesitant to write off anyone just one month into the season.
Same here. OKC doesn't look all that either and who really trusts KD's health at this point?

Spurs are solid as always, they aren't "scary" by any means though
Agreed. They haven't been healthy since the Harden trade & its continuing.

With Russell's growth & the Kanter acquisition, they need an extended period of time with everyone together so they can figure out rotations and that defense. But dudes keep getting hurt.

And yea San Antonio's record is solid but like you said they haven't really been playing all that well. Danny Green looks terrible & LMA isn't comfortable within the offense yet. Parker has been inconsistent too.

VVH pls. What was the point of asking him the question you asked him? Did you disagree with his point that the team has too much talent to be under .500? Or were you trying to counter his comment by bringing up how people say they donot have the talent to compete for a ring, which is a whole different thing.

Have you seen the team play this year? You seem to be focusing on the names and not the play. They're losing to bad teams and choking against good teams. What about any of that would raise expectations for you? As of November 23rd the Clippers are nothing to be excited about. I would expect to to turn around and if they start playing better and correct their deficiencies then expectations will obviously rise but we're living in the now. Clips are fools bronze right about now.

What are your thoughts on the rockets? are Harden and Dwight just not good, or are they playing bad basketball as a whole?

Dude, you really doing this? Obviously the team is too talented to be under .500. If that's all he was saying it didn't need to be said. We all know that they shouldn't be under .500

Yes I have been watching them and they look mediocre obviously. As reflected in their record. Again though, it's the first month of the season and OKC isn't much better looking. KD's health is definitely in question at this point, their new coach is experiencing growing pains. Depending on Waiters and Roberson to play 25+ minutes is comparable to asking Jamal and Austin to play heavy minutes

The Rockets look washed. I have much less faith in them getting it together than the Clippers. To fire your coach, whether deserved or not 11 games into the year is troubling. Lawson looks out of place next to Harden

I've said this before, when kd is hurt, west rooks supporting cast is comparable to Kobes in 06

Pure do be do

Oh I definitely think they CAN beat any team in the west. I just don't trust them
To play consistently enough, as a unit, to do so. i definitely don't trust Doc to improve his rotations. He's had three years to learn fr his mistakes and he obviously hasn't. Idk what he has against Lance but he literally just stopped playing him without giving any reason. Pierce has been folded up and in the dresser since the playoffs ended. Wes, Smith, and Austim have actually been pretty good. Even Jamal had a great game aginst Detroit. They just aren't being put in a position to succeed with Doc. I actually think Doc is a decent coach, too. He just can't fet out of his own way.

Right now, Blake is honestly the only player playing consistently well. He got in foul trouble last game and got ejected against Phoenix. Other than those two games he's been balling. CP3 in the hamper. DJ's been cool. Not bad, not good. JJ's been JJ but from the eyeball teat I think his defense has taken a step back. It's just been a lot of unspectatular play all around.

It's only 13 games so I'm not stressing over it but I can only go based off what I've seen so far. We'll see how it looks after December.

Funniest thing about GSW is they came out of nowhere. I mean I was always a fan, they were a fun team to watch, but literally NOBODY thought, when they were with MJ that they would be contenders. Team seemed small and soft. Weak. Fun to watch but got tons and tons of turnovers. steph was cool, klay was straight, but nobody viewed them as a future threat. they were the splash bros. it was adorable. the theme was 'those shots arent gonna fall every night' 'jump shooting teams don't win championships' etc etc.

Then last year everything clicked. They stopped being looked at as soft. Weak. They tuned the T.Os down. Steph wasn't just cool, Klay wasn't just straight, these guys became cold blooded killers. And this random undersized guy out of michigan state, that was on nobodies radar, started spazzing. And they became something you had to look out for. But based on past experience in the playoffs, nobody really gave them much props, although a few of us had them winning the chip around feb-march, but we were just fortune telling.

but now..with the rise of luke walton...bruh...this team is napalm. This team is a ballistic missile. They have been unleashed and they're terrifying. There's still cats that say curry isn't feared because he isn't aggressive and in your face like bron or russ...but dude catches you like that silent fart in an elevator. you aint eem see it coming, but its toxic and you have nowhere to run. you try to fight it, but it inevitable, you're going to die on this day and it's your own fault.

3 years. 3 years is what it took. the squad was a Sadie Hawkins dance with Mark Jackson. Kerr was that NCAA one year of college . Luke got these dudes out here teaching ****** now. They have everybody trying to imitate that small lineup. It's incredible. And they're the most likeable great of cats ever. Dudes just be chilling, living life and playing hard. No f-boy swag in the bunch.
