Why don't a team just Raja Bell Curry the whole game? Seems like Curry doesn't like physical play. Delladova showed it during the finals but this year they still play him soft

Injure him intentionally?

Or foul the best FT shooter in the league all game?

Because they can't. That is why no team will do it

And come on with the Delly talk

Not saying delly stopped him just saying he bothered him. I think come playoff time Curry is going to get a couple of "hard" fouls a game to see how he adjusts to it.

tf is this?

Curry was caught off guard by Delly. He just assumed going into the game he could coast and beat him. Delly put up enough fight to prevent that and Curry didn't really turn up the gear at all the first game. Then it completely went back to what we thought it would and Curry was able to take him easy when he was ready for it.

That was as much Curry being nonchalant than it was anything about Delly.

exactly. you might throw a good player off for a series. But a great player..takes your best shot. watches game tape. Makes adjustments. Then breaks you off.

Whole first half these Raptors announcers trying too convince me Derozan should be the all star starter at SG. Jimmy Butler gives em 32 in the second half.

I don't think that's what he was saying. The Raja Bell reference was probably a little overboard. I think what he means is be physical with Curry the whole came. Not over the top, but keep constant contact with him, even in the back court. Don't just let him easily walk into those PnRs with Draymond like most teams do. And, if he ends up going to the basket, take a hard foul on him. Not a flagrant, but a clean, hard foul.

IIRC, it was in the 2004 playoffs when the Spurs played the Lakers. Parker was killing the Lakers the first two games. Then they got much more physical with him and it slowed him down and had a big impact on the series. I'd also like a team to employ a defensive philosophy like that against Curry. Obviously it wouldn't shut him down because he -- and his team -- are two good. But it could help slow him some.
