Didnt say it was illegal, what I said was I dont view that as a legitimate basketball play. Pulling the chair can hurt somebody man, you can't just do that and leave someone to stumble and fall with no support.

Your contrarian argument is flawed.
You can't say flopping is okay because it uses the refs to your advantage but then argue against pulling the chair, which is a clever basketball play using your opponents momentum against him.
If you don't like one, you don't like both.
The difference is that with Flopping there is little potential for you to hurt the other person, whereas I don't think the same can be said of pulling the chair.
