Nope. GAME FOUR. And only because GP was about to strangle Karl. Jordan had the three worst Finals games of his career after that. Jordan's performance was so "bad" in those Finals he almost didn't get MVP. Rodman got a couple votes and Kemp got three (on the losing side lol).
Yeah you are right because the Bulls got up 3-0 on them. Stupid stupid George Karl. I do remember Kemp cooking them in that series

Well, a lot of people didn't trust GP back in the day either. His ego got in the way a lot. Simmons broke down his career pretty well in TBOB. One of those 90/10 guys: you love 90 percent of what he does, and tolerate the other 10 (or don't, and trade him for Ray Allen lol).

Yea, but when I see Russ play its more so a 70/30 rule

The way Westbrook plays the game will help you win games, but at the same time can make you lose them as well. Over playing the passing lanes and allowing PG's to go right by him, his lapses when something doesn't go his way, shooting a little too much and not within the flow of the offense, not being able to truly run an offense  . In spite of all this, he's still a great player. Although, GP may of had his own set of issues, I would put GP on any championship caliber team to lead them. I felt on a team led by Westbrook, I would need starters surrounding him that could somewhat hold him in check and some true vets to calm him down.

Absolutely. Of course longevity is going to play a huge part but he's already doing legendy things now. He lead a historically great team to a title in a historically tough west.

Why isn't he one of the best all time?
So his one season and 5 games this year trump everything that Big O, Kidd, GP, Stockton did over their careers? Nah man.

man curry 2nd ALL-TIME? top 5 ALL-TIME?

you definitely have to play longevity into the equation  . if we were to base it off 1 or 2 seasons, TMac would be top 5 all-time at SG. curry may very well be top 5 when its all said and done, though.

No he wouldnt

If Tmac led a team to a ring in an historic fashion and won the league mvp in the process then maybe

Steph is going on being great for 4 seasons now and barring injury has another 4 or 5 left. Son isn't an overnight sensation by any means.

I'm projecting right now, but let's not give him the flowers when he can't smell them.

Really? 4 seasons ago he still had glass ankles and was playing 23 games in a 60 game lockout season. Dude just became an all star two seasons ago. Could he be top 5 by the time he's all said and done, sure? But pump the brakes. It's really disrespectful to the guys who put in multiple years of greatness.

I'll TAKE Gps shoes over Westbrooks

GP's numbers are deflated because of his first few years, and last few years.

He also wasn't the scorer that Russ is, but imo....ran a team better, and was a better all around player. Russ is a more boom or bust PG.

remember how ill 2011 D.Rose was?!?!?! my goodness. and he had added that 3pt shot. dude was so dope. that miami series took a lot out of him. then he got hurt that next season

Like dudes really feared playing against him.

Exactly. Steph is my guy, but he only really broke out in 2013. 2014 was his first truly Elite season, and his 2015 season was outta this world.

He's done enough to be considered the best shooter of all time, but not enough to be a top 5 PG of all time....yet. Him and Cp3 will be in that convo when it's all said and done IMO though.

I've gotta say though.....its a much stronger argument than the quote that @DarthSka  posted in the OP of the Chris Paul thread.

12-13 season, Steph was 22 and 7 on 45/45/90. He's been great. You may not agree with me now, but you will soon.
