The only thing that'll help Kobe is filing those retirement papers.

laugh.gif. This thread seems to have the power to make players turn it on. A little more than a week ago, it was "Harden's washed." Boom. 3 straight 40+ games for him and a player of the week award. A few days ago, "what's up with Wiggins?" Bam. Drops 30+ in consecutive games....Its kind of comical...except for Kobe...seems like nothing is helping him at this point.

hmm.....

I hope we'd all at least agree that Dion Waiters should just be out of the league.

To tell you the truth, both Conley and Marc have looked like *** to start the season. I know Marc is battling neck spasms, but I'm not sure what's going on with Conley. Apparently, he's hurt too, but I don't know what's wrong. If those two not on point, the Grizz can kiss their playoff hopes goodbye. Last nigh twas the perfect example of Zbo having a great game, but it didn't really mean much because both Conley and Marc had subpar games. You need those two to play well if you want any shot at winning.

The fact that Conley is in a contract year too. sick.gif

Anybody work at a Kinko's?

If you do, and you see George Karl come in to make copies of his resume, call me.

Give us Zbo. We'll give you Nene and Alan Anderson.

why is everyone writing off the Grizz already? i know they play in the west but arent the Grizz one of those teams that turn it on usually in the 2nd half of the season?

Well, usually when people write them off every year, I'm the one to back them saying its too early. But, the Grizz have never looked this bad overall. Its pretty concerning. They looked a lot better yesterday, but their two best players still didn't look that great. They also had a tough schedule to start the season, but that also doesn't mean they should've got beat by 50, 30 and 20+. I'm sure they will eventually make a strong playoff push, but as much as I backed the team in year's past, I believe the writing is on the wall this season. They truly need to upgrade the perimeter this year to really have a shot at making a deep playoff run. Its too difficult to survive games with the lack of perimeter depth we have.

Nah plehboi. I want young assets and picks if we busting the team up.

Also, dating back to the last 50 regular season games, I believe the Grizz have a .500 record of 25-25. So, this actually start occurring once we acquired Jeff Green.

Next game is against GS. There will be no turnaround. Out west either your a contender or rebuilding. The Grizz are no longer contenders.

Things don't get any easier for them after GSW. I do think they will win their next two games against PDX and Minnesota, but then they have....OKC, HOU, @SAS, DAL, @HOU, ATL, PHI, @NOP, SAS, PHX, OKC, @DET laugh.gif

Out of those 12 games, they may not even come out with a .500 record witih how they're playing laugh.gif . They really have to turn it on they want to.

Doesn't matter. It's a prestige award. He'll be on the team because he's Kobe Bryant and Nike will make money off it being his official last hurrah.
How much more money do you honestly believe that Kobe would bring to the table?

I'm not about to sit here and crunch numbers but common sense should tell you Kobe Bryant being the 12th man on the team would be more lucrative from a marketing perspective than a Gordon Hayward, klay Thompson, or whoever the hell that last spot would likely go to.

But you're not taking into account that LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin, Anthony Davis, etc will already be on the team. So how much MORE revenue do you truly think Kobe would bring in that isn't already accounted for?

What difference does it make?

There'd only one person on that list that sells more shoes than Kobe Bryant.

Agreed 150%.

Can you see the Wolves making the playoffs this year?
