Lebron is smart enough to know that him playing hero ball when not necessary isn't beneficial to a long lasting career.

His future demise is being greatly exaggerated

Sheesh... We only have a small sample size to base our opinions on but I don't even think he is the best player at his position, let alone a future superstar. Mudiay is soooooooo much better than him.

The demise of his shooting percentages sure as hell isn't.

Most draft analysis had Russell as the most superstar potential and most bust potential.

KAT is a freak. Do yall think Embiid will ever play at an elite level?

More like he's smart enough to get some younger guys to hopefully carry the load for him as the decline comes. Kyrie's glass body may put a dent in that plan though. We'll see.

To be fair, Russell still has to develop and earn his minutes...Mudiay has been given free reigns while Byron being old school with this tough love, earn your minutes, show me something, attitude

KAT

Embiid.

But in all seriousness, KAT is the goods. He plays with so much passion, I can't help but root for him. I'm not really sure about alphabet and Parker (he's still getting back to form), but if they both reach their potential KAT/Wiggins out west + alphabet/ Parker east will be fun to watch. Two small town teams ruling the NBA.

It's funny none of them are point guards.

I'm kind of feeling like that was a shot at Kobe anddddd it doesn't quite work considering

Kobe in his last full season (17th Overall) 2012-2013
27, 6, & 5.6 on 46% shooting/ 32% from 3

Lebron 2012-2013
26.8, 7.3, & 8 on 56% shooting/ 40% from 3

if playing hero ball leads to you putting up similar #'s to the best player in the world in his prime, while your in your 17th year & winning 5 rings... i would say that's quite beneficial smokin.gif

This is true. He would've been better off elsewhere. Instead he is on the Lakers where his development is stunted because of shot clock Kobe.

They also didn't have 3 major injuries and weren't playing at MVP levels before them either.

laugh.gif Lebrons 2013 and Kobe's 2013 aren't close and I love Kobe Bryant.

Shooting 10 percentage points higher is pretty damn significant not to mention how much better Lebron was defensively.

what the next position to flourish? Right now we're in the era of the point guard. Greatest pool it's ever been. But it won't last forever. Does the 2 guard come back to life? Does the SF grow? Centers byke?
