KD's confidence is rocked it seems. The Thunder is Russ team..if Russ were to go down again I def believe KD would put up those numbers again, just won't be as efficient though.

So if Harden won the MVP this year and won the chip, would he be the best player in the world?

Kobe won a ring in 2010 (and got a dubious Finals MVP for his troubles), but ain't nobody on the planet trying to argue that 2010 Kobe was a better basketball player than LeBron at that point. Well, except delusional Lakers fans.
 
LeBron hasn't been the best in the world since KD matured. He's been slowly regressing for a while now

If you don't think Curry is #1 right now you're wild. It was supposed to be ADs year but he's been off to a rough start
 
Curry has the perfect team around him to succeed.  If you put him on a team of scrubs, he doesn't lead that team anywhere imho.  Still would get his, no doubt.
 
Idk how people can watch Lebron play now and say he's regressing. He's still the best all around player in the world and been that way for at least the past 7/8 years.

I wouldn't say he's regressed, but he picks his moments now. He doesn't press as hard as he did in the past. He's a much smarter player now, as opposed to being the dominating physical force he was for many years. He knows the playoffs are all that matters. There's no point in shooting for regular season achievements.

It's not so much about what Team USA has, it's about what the international teams are about to NOT have. The top teams are losing guys. Spain is getting old. So is France. Argentina is basically done. The Dream Team effect has finally come full circle. The world got better in response to American NBA players, and the NBA responded once the world caught up. There's nothing the world can do about a motivated Team USA at this point.

Eh I think Kobe still had a case in 2010.

Kinda like what Lebron has now, they're not statistically the best anymore but they have a reputation and they win big.

No, I get that. I'm just saying that the international teams that have presented problems for Team USA over the years are falling apart (or will fall apart shortly). And, they don't have enough fire power to replace the departed players. The Gasols embarrassed Team USA in the last two gold medal games. Spain easily could have won both of those. Pau is done after 2016, and the next international competition isn't until 2019.
