Iggy did his defensive thing but the reason why he flourished on the offensive end - why ANYONE flourished on that end - was cuz of all the attention Curry was getting.

Some people don't realize the kind of attention Curry commands. Take Steph out of the series and Iggy will hold Lebby down but look like a chump on the offensive end.

Had Dellavedova not like looked like Gary Payton guarding Steph for like 2 games, Steph would've no doubt won Finals MVP. But that did happen, making Iggy the clear and very deserving MVP of that series.
 
Much like the Memphis series, I tend to think it was just missing shots as opposed to Dellavedova "locking down" .

Not enough discipline and effort on defense. Just watch the game vs Rose and the Bulls.

No, for several reasons. First, its pretty impossible for any one player to D up Curry because he work off of screens so much. Sometimes multiple screens. No defender can get through all of that, so it takes a true team effort to stop him. The Clippers were doing an ok job for a while in the game last week, but then had some lapses. The bigs didn't come out enough and Steph ended up getting too much space. Give him a centimeter and its all he needs.

And Russ gambles too much as a 1-on-1 defender to lock up someone like Steph.
 
Are we really talking about whether or not Steph is the driving force of this offense

Hopefully he ends up being worth a max anyway but I hate that dude

I would like to see Marcus Smart guard Curry. Just want to see how he'd go about it. I like his style when he plays defense
 
The Steph jerk is unreal right now. Unreal.

It wasn't but 6 months ago when the thread was saying "Klay da best" because he was on fire.

Then AD because he was putting up unreal#'s.
