I know I'm late but I'm saddened to see Grantland.Com shuttered. You knew it wasn't gonna be the same without Bill Simmons, but damn did I love me some NBA themed articles, oral history etc.

blake griffin lowkey going to win the MVP award if they can somewhat match GSW records or atleast stay within 10 games of them lol .............

why do i feel like jabari is never going to be more than a 15 pts and 8 rebounds per game in his prime guy and never be fully healthy ?

why do i feel like andrew wiggins ceiling now is demar derozan with a tad better defense?

why am i still unsure about KAT , but sure about porzingod

giannis has made teh leap to allstar at 20 years old.......kid will be top 5 in the game in 3-5 years hes never going to be the knockdown shooter (maybe tho who knows) that durant is but will be a better defender and a high flyer

That's not a celebration fam.

It's actually just an acknowledgement towards God and his mom.

From the article:

"In the interview with Strachan, Curry explains that his mother texted him words of encouragement before his first college game. Those words consisted of Philippians 4:13 and Romans 8:28, which have now become signature trademarks on Curry’s shoes. “WSC” stands for Curry’s full name, Wardell Stephen Curry II.

If you watch Curry play, you know that after he scores a basket he taps his chest twice and then points to the sky. He referred to this as “Heart for God” and the inspiration for this came from none other than Sonya.

In “Kick’n It” Episode I, Curry tells the story of how that came to be a signature move for him. It started in college when, after the starting lineups were announced, he would find his mother in the stands, tap his chest twice and point to the sky and she would do it back to him.

This continued for a while and then it morphed into something that he did every time he made a basket."

A.K.A hot dogging

Idk how people can watch Lebron play now and say he's regressing. He's still the best all around player in the world and been that way for at least the past 7/8 years.

Lebrons defense has been weak for years now , we have to stop using that as a basis on what still makes him "the best player in the game" he's the most decorated player that is still very very productive and is still top 5 in the game. He is not better than Curry, Westbrook, or Durant in 2015 absolutely not.

I give him credit because he's effective as hell with it, but Harden's game is so unnatural to me. Like, how did he even come up with some of the stuff he does? It would never occur to me when playing to try and lock up my defenders arm with mine to make it look like he's fouling me, when I'm really the one creating the contact. Weird.
