It's like y'all forget prime Dwigt was averaging 23 & 15 leading an elite team with few perimeter defenders to 50+ wins when the top half of the East was actually good :lol:.

Drummond is more fluid, and less robotic..but prime Dwight was just as effective. Dwight used to change directions from defense to offense within seconds of a stop. Then a quick rim run deep post up for a dunk.

There was a time wen it was Kobe, LeBron and Dwight as the 3 clear best players in the game. That's how good he was.

Dwight Howard is the of disrespected HOF ever...Was putting up 40 & 20 in the playoffs, beat a prime LeBron Cavs, WCF etc.

Dudes so quick to suck just to be on it first :smh:

Ehh. Plenty of non-Lakers fans hate him or have a dislike of him. On and off here

He went from universally loved to mostly hated. For many reasons that are not limited to the Lakers.

Problem is that hate has bled into the perception of him as a player. You just can't deny what he's done in his career, and is STILL doing. He had 20/20 vs DJ just 2 days ago :lol:

A lot of the Dwight perception is fueled by TNT (Shaq & Chuck), Kobe & Lakers fan, Dwight being downright corny, and bandwagon perception. Regardless of why you hate him, you can't deny his talent and accomplishments.
 
Warriors have so many weapons its crazy. Make you feel like you need another couple defenders
 
The legitimate reasons to dislike Dwight... how he handled his exit out of Orlando.

Either demand a trade or play out your contract, don't half *** it like he did. Although it did give us that clip of him and SVG which is top ten all-time.

The dumb reasons to hate Dwight.. his joking and relaxed attitude. He was that same goofy, corny guy when he was anchoring Orlando's defense and throwing shots into the stands and winning DPOYs. Just because he smiled a lot didn't make him less of a player.. not everyone is going to have the Kobe scowl 24/7. People hated on him because he wasn't Shaq or for not backing guys down with his chicken legs or learning how to shoot when he doesn't have that natural touch. If you accepted Dwight for what he was, he was a hell of a player in his prime and a fan favorite before his FA shenanigans. 

You could not like him, but let's not forget how dominant he was.

I was just talking about Drummond being a giant with some real solid footwork :lol:

Like dude said Dwight did have that extra bounce and ran the floor really well but when you realize Drummond probably got an extra 40 lbs and still has that type of athletic ability that he's working with its really impressive.

dwight started to be injury prone, that had a lot to do with his decline
he still showed in the portland series a couple yrs ago that he could be dominant

But man this piston team is ill...they not scared...gunna be watching them more often...u can see how bad drummond wanna play good
