After Sacramento was hammered at home by San Antonio Monday night, the Kings’ star, DeMarcus Cousins, stormed into the locker room and cursed out head coach George Karl with a torrent of obscenities, a person close to the situation told The Big Lead.

i remember somebody in the league a while back saying cousins is an amazing talent , but you can't win anything with him ...the Kings really shoulda kept Malone, seems like that's the only coach Cousins did and ever will like :lol: :smh:

The day after the San Antonio loss, the players had a well-publicized players-only meeting. What hasn’t been reported is that after the players spoke, Sacramento general manager Vlade Divac and assistant GM Mike Bratz talked to the players and Divac asked the team, “We don’t know what to do with George [Karl], do you think we should fire him?”

wavycrocket wavycrocket I'm a big fan of Whittman. He's brought our young players along proper and had us 2nd in the NBA in opponents FG%. The playoff loses weren't really disappointments. We are a 2nd round at best team. ECF would be overachieving.

The new offense has destroyed our defense. Turnovers are the key issue. Our bigs once a advantage in the East is no longer. Our bigs are washed. We don't really have the shooters to maximize this type of offense either.

To sum this up. Changing coaches with this roster IMO changes nothing. Our star isn't the scorer his peers are and Beal is just breaking out. We're stuck until we add more.

Sacramento unnecessarily imploding after a tough schedule that saw their best player not even play for half the games so far. I don't get it. A lot of overreactions from them. They are okay to me.
 
I absolutely adore that no one in the local media is as plugged in or even touching this guy's story tho

Y'all should want no parts of that. You guys have a good thing going in Chicago, being playoff contenders really without a superstar. Emergence of Butler, Noah's contributions, Pau, and then whatever you can get from Rose. Boogie messes all that up, methinks.

Karl is washed as a coach but I would imagine coaching Rondo and Cousins would require Phil Jacksonesque abilities to mesh personalities. Cousins is a baller but he ain't MJ, Lebron, or vintage Kobe...he can't be cussing out coaches.
