It's not as if he's been dominating for two years now fresh off an MVP and a Championship season.

No..:let's wait for him to achieve whatever the equivalent is to going to the finals for 6 straight years in the east

If best player in the world was based off accolades then Duncan and Kobe are still the best players in the world.

Curry been cooking since the start of last season. Won MVP and his first NBA Title. Through the start of this season has been clearly the best player. He's earned the praise.
 
Missing from all the Curry greatness and [deserving] praise, is Klay putting up points but looking extra regular, and being replaced By Draymond Green as the 2nd most important player for GSW. Heh.

Klay is the W's 5th most important player.  Playoff and big games performances matter.  Curry, Draymond, Iguodala, Barnes > Klay "space cadet" Thompson.
