I think it has to to with the Warriors getting a bit disrespected all the way around. The offseason was all about how many breaks they got, how many teams got better than them over the Summer, etc. Basically, the narrative suggested their title was a fluke. They seem to know that and be very motivated by it. Plus, they've had a pretty easy schedule.

i cant pick teams ........i love the nba too much , i have a couple of teams i root for in a sense but not really a fan to say that i wont root for the team against them if it has a player im a fan of instead.........im a fan of the players and the game not as much the teams but i do root for my hometown heat since i was a kid and the magic as well if i had to make a list of teams it'd be

I was at flying saucer the other week and started talking about the Rockets. me being the charismatic star i am, had at least 8 random folks jump into the conversation.
Everyone was telling me to relax because I was going in on how ****** our roster is. I tried to warn them that our roster had nothing but stretch armstrong non ball handlers and that won't help mr isolation harden out because all hes good for is shooting or driving into the lane and finding one of our brick squad shooters to miss.

He's one of the most underrated players in the NBA. He is a classic dirty work guy with decent range and a developing 3. Our best big honestly. I agree but he's coming along now getting more touches.
