The Finals series with the Cavs really molded the Warriors into this juggernaut
If Curry gets cold, his teammates take over and do work on both sides of the court.
When Curry gets hot doe :x , damn near impossible to beat

That goes with the optics of what I've been saying.

Jordan beat Magic for his first title. Curry beat LeBron.

if the warriors go lets say , 30-3 ....do we start considering them to take that 72-10 ??

I want to see where they are come christmas and ASW to make a proper prediction. Schedule shows they can potentially have zero losses going into Christmas. Maybe another off night or two where Iggy does hit that prayer.

Bulls had 5 losses going into ASW if I recall correctly. If Dubs have 5 or less losses headed into it, no doubt they at least match it. The thing I'm digging about these guys, I think the most, is the fact they come out wanting to win every game. I think they actually want the record. They aren't playing with that post championship lull. I thought for sure once Dray got his ring and check son was just gonna kick back with his mouth open. But he lowkey seems the most determined. The Izzo Effect. Much respect.

and then it was over. MJ owned the 90s.

After having his breakthrough, can Steph then own the 2015s and on?

What needs to happen for steph to be mentioned in top 10 talk? Just casual conversation, not saying I want him there, just curious? How many wins, how many chips, How many points, mvps, f-mvps, etc etc. If Steph repeats, does that immediately tie him with Lebron in the top 10, or does that give him the tie breaker since he has no losses in the finals, potentially.

We gotta calm down. They're not starting 28-0. They'll drop a game to a lesser team at some point.

the more important question is, if/when they do, is that a positive reflection on them or a negative reflection on the current NBA?
Depends on who you speak to
The Charles Barkleys will say the league got softer and the days of the post game are long gone

I feel like GSW's ball movement is as great as their outside shooting, and that's what it takes to succeed against defensive schemes that have been more complex than the previous decades.

A lot has to happen.

Relatively speaking, Steph doesn't have many accolades at 27. He'll be 28 by the end of this season.

So far, he's a:

2X All Star
MVP
NBA Champ
2X All NBA

He needs a lot more ASG's, MVPs, Points, All NBA Teams etc to be considered too 10.

Isiah Thomas is like a 12x All star, 10 time All NBA and 2X NBA Champ, and Finals MVP....and isn't considered a top 10 player.

No disrespect to Isiah, but he was part of a generation that didn't have much competition in the PG position
After him and Magic, there was no one.
The bigs dominated the game.
Curry has to compete with the likes of CP3, Wall, Westbrook, Lillard, Conley, Lowry, Rondo, Rose
Curry isn't in the conversation of MJ, but his impact is getting to the point where he can be considered a top 3 PG in NBA history if he continues at this pace.

For real though... The 90s are sacred to me.

Me also bro. Curry isn't Mike but I'm not gonna dismiss every player going forward in defense of MJ. I'm surprised someone hasn't said Mike can shoot better then Curry yet. I think Curry can challenge Mike in offensive brilliance and team accomplishments if he stays on course.

Through 11 games he's on pace to break his 3Pt record by over a hundred 3s. What he's doing right now is special man.

Isiah Thomas played against the top 2 PGS of All TIME. Including him.

Magic
Stockton
Isiah

Are the top 3 PG's to play this game. He happened to beat the best PG of all time in the finals. And the best player of all time multiple times in the playoffs.

If you think Curry going against Wall, Cp3, Westbrook, Lillard, Conley, and Lowry....

Is tougher than battling Magic Johnson and John Stockton....idk what to tell you :smh:

somebody did lol. couples days ago they said if mike wanted to shoot from outside like curry he could have he just chose not to. we pointed. we laughed.

curry is so good that i legit can not replicate the way he plays on 2k

i respect the 80/90s nba but its just like rap.......the elitists are going to chime in and refuse to accept that people play basketball 20 years later and are breaking records / replicating incredible runs

U missed my point. I'm saying Curry had tougher competition than what Magic, Stockton, Isiah balled against on a daily basis.
I never said Magic, Isiah, or Stockton was worse than Curry's competition, just that they had different battles.
I'm sure CP3 and Westbrook would cook the 80s average PGs on a daily basis

Westbrook would destroy Stockton. I respect John but let's keep it real. Stockton would be completely overmatched tryna guard him.

Gary Payton on John Stockton

Who was your favorite guy to play against?

John Stockton. I idolize him now to the fullest. I think he was probably … not underrated, but everybody thought he wasn’t the guard to go against every day, that he was probably easy. They thought he was dirty. He was a guard where he wasn’t as athletic as us, he did it as basic as he had to. He set hard picks. People were mad because they knew he set hard picks, but they always got caught on them. We weren’t as smart as him. We were so big-headed thinking we could be more athletic than him and he would get us out of our game. We would get mad, get techs, and be sitting on the bench while he would never say nothing to no one. We’re good friends to this day. It’s just one of the things that I admire of him.

friscostylez friscostylez your the first and only person I've ever heard say Bledsoe is more athletic the Wall. For every highlight you post Wall has highlights to match or surpass. What is your obsession with Bledsoe? Are the Suns your team? Suns will make 0 noise in the playoffs. If they even make it.

BTW nothing you posted is Bledsoe reverse dunking jumping over a grown man. Wall still wins.

Lol please quote me where I said Bledsoe is more athletic. I even explicitly said idk who's more athletic. For every highlight wall has, Bledsoe has one matching or surpasses it. What's your point b? You look absolutely foolish saying Bledsoe isn't athletically in the same ballpark as wall. You're the first and only person I know who said this.
