I think that's part of it for sure. So there may be some minor improvements on defense and rebounding as he gets in better shape. But its the shooting that concerns me most. Even a guy who's not in the best shape should be able to hit some wide open shots and he's not even doing that. And I know Pierce has always been more of a "scorer" than a shooter, but still. Guy can't hit anything right now.

Also, Gordo Hayward is probably most proficient in the league behind Harden at creating contact with his defender and making it look like he got fouled.

Keep calling these team meetings and alienating your teammates Lebbywinks!
Lebron is a decent person off the court, but he's unlikeable because he's annoying when it comes to his antics and failed promises in his job. If he were to retire now, I'm sure he would be more liked. But for now, the hate is just gonna grow more with every loss.

He's not a good heel though laugh.gif

He should be, but just can't commit
Deep down inside he wants to be liked. Since day one. And of course like others have said before when the majority was on his side he couldn't do any wrong.
The minute he did something they didn't like he's this and that laugh.gif so he was forced to be the villain.

Beat me to it. He's uncomfortable as the bad guy, and as someone who was indifferent to him before he went to Miami, it didn't even seem right when he tried to take the bad guy role. On the flipside, I think KD could flourish in that role, and even though he's liked by pretty much everybody, I feel like Steph could too laugh.gif (you know it's coming sooner or later)

Steph could be the bad guy. He got that light skin, Terrance Howard, can't trust him vibe.

I don't understand using the term "propoganda" in describing the warriors

How is their success different? The media does what the media is going to do - this would be true for any team with a historic start coming off a championship

Do I think they break the bulls record? No. But itll be entertaining as hell watching them move towards it

And right now, all these teams gunning for the Dubs are making them better. Keeping them more engaged right from the start versus the hangover

Oh and this - Kerr's system is being ran without much tinkering. He helped before the Laker DLeague game. 3 new plays insalled that AM and ran at the start resulting in 3 buckets.

IDK. Just don't see that happening, especially with more casual basketball fans. He's a relatively small guy, who killing bigger, more athletic players with his skills. People love that kind of story. I think that's why he already pretty much gets a pass on a lot of the show boating he does. He's have to go way OD with. that stuff or do something bad off court (which I think is very unlikely) to turn people against him.

Show boating? Like what? Celebrating the 1 time he gets the And-1 call?

His celebrations are tame compared to everyone else in the L almost all of whom get a pass just because this what the L is about now (ie exact opposite of the NFL).

We've been over this in here before. To most people other than Warriors fans, it's pretty obvious.

I read most pgs in here but not all - so i probably missed the actual examples.

I agree with your underlying point, though - people are drawn to like him (casual observers) because he's smaller, etc. He's not going to be a villian or disliked any time soon unless a lot changes

whats even funnier is how he ended eating those words and got hurt when the little people who had to go back to their basic lives stopped liking him.......

Glad i wasnt the only one who noticed all that dum ish Curry does after shots & when hes off. Cant stand him. I think since the media portrays him so innocently it makes it worse. He should just embrace it & go all out like Bron did. I'll prob like him more if he did lol

I don't think it validated anything. It was was never a real reason to hate him, especially if you ain't from Cleveland lol. All it did was expose how weak some of these fans are. They wanna sit back and say whatever they want about athletes but when a athlete shoots back they get on some "Oh that's wrong, he shouldn't say that."

Yep.

And as far as the hot dogging goes, besides the pointing thing, he does more posing, shimmying, etc. after made shots than the majority of guys in the league. Yeah, I guess you could call it subtle compared to some things - like LeBron's stupid thing he does - but it's there. I think if other guys did the same type of things, it would get talked about more. It is what it is though. I probably wouldn't find it as annoying if the Warriors didn't own my Clippers. embarassed.gif

Westbrook is the true heel we deserve. KD could do it but he's in a never ending identity crisis. Curry will be a SCSA and Rock type heel, you hate him but love him.

He's definitely a slow starter. With the Nets, he was awful til mid-December. Then turned into a really efficient assassin. No one paid attention but he was REALLY good. We played him exclusively at 4 though.

That's somewhat comforting. I won't give up on him yet then. Thanks.
