Indeed. Or else people will continue to denigrate him for it.

Very true. That's why the best shot blockers are often also the guys who get posterized the most. Because they contest everything. Dikembe, Zo, etc. all got caught on numerous posters. Shaq really didn't because he's just foul guys to prevent getting dunked on. I'm sure a few people got Shaq, but I don't remember any off the top of my head.

Agree 100%. I'd rather my big contest the dunk then bail out. We all knew KP would eventually catch one. The dunk was sick though. I'd be a hater to not acknowledge that.

Didn't an OKC paper basically call KD a choker once? Maybe he's still mad about that.

We all know that if it was Dwight contesting Porzingis and getting posterized, or anybody else that is a lightning rod for criticism, people would've **** their pants laughing. There would've been no talk about "at least my big contesting." Let that have been Lebron laugh.giflaugh.gif

Everyone's favorite antihero Russell Westbrook is even worse with the media.

Or does he get a pass because he's an alpha?

Call me crazy, but I have a feeling about the Jazz ending the Dubs' streak tonight. They've been playing well generally, are one of the better defensive teams in the league and are at home. . . .

. . . but more than likely GSW will crush them. Still, an interesting match up.

Russ and KD are both acting super bitter lately

They threw so much shade at Reggie Jackson and are always making slick comments to the media

Most people can't handle new information objectively, always gotta get emotional
This is absolutely true.

It ain't whining. Its the truth. The media waited for Kobe to play the worst of his career to take shots and digs at him. For those who watch baseball, Derek Jeter was awful his last few years. **** the 3,000 hits. He was terrible and the media never took the shots at him that they are doing Kobe which is what Durant said. A lot of this is personal because at times Kobe was antagonistic towards them and they are salivating. One minute the media is your friend, the next they hate you.

Ryan Chris Bosh Hollins signs with the Wizards and they've also waived Martell Webster. Interesting

OKC beat writer reported that both KD and Russ exchanged pleasantries with Reggie after the game. Sounds like their comments after the game were trolling.

I also watched how ESPN took a story about KD talking about how close he and Russ were during his OK hall of fame speech...and turned that into a story with the headline "KD denies rift with Westbrook".

I'll never side with the media over a player
