MJ played all 82 games and Pip missed 5 games during the 72 win season.

No one mentions "health" as an substitute for greatness for them.
Umm...doesn't that kinda reinforce his point? Also they completed the mission, GS wins 70 games and doesn't win the title it'll be all for nothing.

How dare that training staff for Golden State monitor their guys and help them stay healthy.
How dare those players for Golden State take care of themselves.

Using health as an excuse might be the saddest thing I've ever seen.

Just like that...you jinxed them.

It was good while it lasted guise

Lebron on the Warriors recent success:

"They've been the most healthy team I've ever seen in NBA history and they have great talent,"

Source: http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2015/11/lebron_james_cavaliers_3.html

:rolleyes

Yeah, it's true they've all been healthy but still..even when other teams are healthy, they aren't able to do this sooo...:rolleyes

But anyway, the quote that was even MORE funny in that article was this:

"James needs 21 points tonight to pass Reggie Miller (25,279 points) for 18th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list.

James was asked if he had a favorite moment from Miller's storied, hall-of-fame career, and he said:

"Uh, no."

The disrespect.

I hate Lebby, but doesn't sound like an excuse, he's just pointing out a fact. There have been such an increase in injuries (non-contact and contact) ones to stars in the league the last few years, even in the playoffs, that it's almost become a war of attrition out there to see who can be most whole at the end of the year. It's not a knock, just a fact. GS hasn't sustained any significant injuries to their top 3 guys over the last couple seasons, we'll see if they're able to maintain that over the course of another season. Kudos to their training staff and coaches for not having to play guys extended minutes and keeping down the wear and tear.

Reggie Miller has said a lot of stupid things over the years, but trying to make "The Curry Chronicles" a thing last week might have been his most embarrassing.

Mike Conley will stay healthy for the entire season.

The funny thing about the Warriors training staff is they got a new staff this season. Brought over some guys from the Hawks staff.

Yeah if you refer to this year.

It's not 72 wins but they won 67 last year. It's crazy how some people are trying to diminish that season with pathetic excuses such as health and luck as sole factors that they won.

GSW fans can play that same injury excuse game too.

Bron should've just went to GSW then

Kyrie been hurt since college where he was hurt anyway

Love is always banged up

Droopy yellow eyes was near death a few years ago

and Dinossaurs lungs are having trouble dealing with the air of these times.

all bad for the man.

If curry was to get hurt is there any doubt that either or both of barbosa/Livingston would step up and become a top 5 pg? It's what the warriors seem to do from monta to klay to David Lee to dray to Bogut to ezeli to jackson and kerr and walton. They have some sort of bottomless pit of elite talent over there
