The 2015 NBA finals determined that was a lie.

I don't think scoring is their biggest problem. They can't defend anymore. I believe they're one of the worst defensive teams in the league. That's why they're record is bad.

That's crazy. I would think that would be the consistent attribute coming from last year.

Anyone think the Knicks are going to be a playoff team this year?

I feel Steph is being modest when he says he thinks he can go for 70.

I think this year I would let Steph shoot as much as he wants to see how high can he go.

They are terrible defensively. Jabari and Greek still aren't above average shooters and their guard play is weak to say the least in terms of creating/shooting/passing/IQ

Jason Kidd has his two best players being largely ignored in the half court offense as well

Parker is now coming off the bench but he still isn't really getting looks

bucks overachieved in a weak east last yr. they arent that good
post #25512 of 93193
Didn't the Bucks lose by like 40 to Chicago in the close out game last year?
Warriors only have three teams IMO that can compete or beat them.

1.Spurs
2. Cavs
3. OKC

That's it. I' don't think anybody else stands a chance at beating this team 4 games out of 7 if they are healthy.

TBH, I am jealous of the Warriors. For years, they were in roughly the same situation as the Clippers. Then they both started to get good around the same time, but then kind of out of nowhere the Warriors turned into a juggernaut and the Clips still can't get past the second round. frown.gif

i was joking about my initial post; I'm not religious at all but I remembered the movie se7en and inclined to use that line.:lol

I honestly DGAF about pro sports.  Don't care about millionaires bouncing a ball and putting it in a hoop.  I mean, cmon.  They're so fortunate to live that life and do it for a living.  I rather focus on my own life or real matters. Reason why entertainers are paid highly are to distract people from reality, truth and this system was set up by the i...err, nevermind.

I'm glad Clippers and W's have somewhat turned the tide, still feels weird and nonlasting.  I think Lakers will retool and be a contender in 3-4 years.  So enjoy it while it lasts..

Cohan and Sterling were the worse 2 owners in the NBA.  Dolan and Wizards owner not too far behind.  It's funny how people think just because they live in an area where their sports team is doing well or jumped on a bandwagon gives them the right to brag or whatever.  Also funny how people say "we" instead of mentioning their team name.  "We won"  "we beat you"  As if people think they are actually playing.

Pro sports is simply entertainment for me.  If something does not entertain me anymore i.e. a bad team or poorly run franchise, I simply won't invest time into watching or care.  Have other priorities in life and other forms of entertainment.  I'm a sports fan in general and will watch whatever is good on tv.  I'm still taken by the success of the W's and find their run to the title very fortunate because of other team's injuries but whatever.  It may not happen again, who knows.

We've barely gone through a month of the season & already declaring NBA champs? laugh.gif

The finals don't start for another 6 months. Relax.

not enough shooters. Same issue Miami is having.

Russell Westbrook is at 31.9 PER. Kevin Durant is at 31.6. Wilt holds NBA record for full season at 31.8 PER. This is INSANE for teammates.

And yet, Steph is at 35.2 PER. Cold-blooded.

Bucks dropped off after trading Knight. A borderline allstar PG who is playing great this year for MCW to save a few dollars.

Is it safe to say Greg Monroe hasn't worked out as planned?

BTW, why is OKC being thrown into the list of teams that can beat GSW? If we've been watching, a great defense is the only way to AT LEAST contain GSW. OKC's defense sucks and they try to win by out scoring opponents. I can agree with Cleveland and San Antonio since their defenses are elite. OKC defense has been somewhat better as of late, but I don't trust it when it comes down to the big games.

Even though its not the best example, but look at how Utah were able to keep up with them and they aren't that great offensively. Look at Memphis last year during Games 2 and 3 or even Cleveland in the Finals. You are going to have to beat them by defending at an extremely high level. Even then, you need some offensive talent to really push you over the top and win the game. The more possessions you give GSW, the harder it'll be to beat them so you also have to slow the game down and rebound the ball.

Seeing GSW play a high powered offense with stardom all over is nice and all, but its a recipe for a disaster at the opponent's expense if the team cannot deliver on the defensive end.

I hear you, but at the end of the day, when healthy, KD and Westbrook are two of the top 5 best players in the league. Just based on that level of talent, I think you at least have to give them a shot to beat the Warriors.

I understand. I just think when playing a team like GSW that relies on great ball movement and elite defense / shooting, KD and Russ are going to have to do a lot more than just put up elite numbers. They will need the Ibaka's, Roberson's, Adam's, Kanter's, etc. to step up into their roles as well. I feel like their style of play will win them a few games off pure talent alone, but they are going to have to find ways to get others involved and make those players better as well. I've seen it more out of KD than I have Russ.

You not funny, you can't even offer any good basketball talk, you troll all day and then try to "laugh it off" when somebody calls out your garbage posts. Might as well stick to the Warrior threads than fill up the NBA thread with a bunch of **** .

You'll be the main one disappearing if Curry got hurt for the year and the Warriors ******* themselves the rest of the season just like a bandwagon fan.
