Wow! I'm shocked nobody can explain besides score and handle what makes Curry better then Wall. An why Kyrie who's also a great scorer and ball handler isn't a elite PG.

First time I've ever throw out a question without anyone having a legit answer or stance. This isn't the NBA thread I'm use to.
a. hes a better passer , wall will never , ever have a jumper even close to steph.......wall is an athletic playmaker , curry is an offensive superstar.......wall isnt even better than paul , westbrook , lillard or kyrie ....seriously john wall is not an all time great youre trying to compare him to one .

Wow, the fact that you are serious is crazy to me.

Curry is a way better scorer and ball handler than Wall. What is Wall WAY better than Currry at? Defense? NOPE! Passing? NOPE!

Stephs unlimited range shifts whole defenses for him, his handles let him create his own shot and drive when defense play him too close

Hotsauce irving and wall don't do these things

Curry is the best NBA player in the game right now.

Thee BEST. Better than Bron.

Who's more lethal in the game of basketball?
nobody , thank you ....im glad steph curry is here to remind people why basketball is the ultimate sport ....skill > athleticism  just ask my boy zbo / gasol / nowitzki

I'll put my Clipper fanboydom aside to cosign.. No Durant, no Lebron, no Harden.. On offense at least, Curry is the best in the game right now and its been like that since last season

I'll play. And I'm as big of a John Wall fan as anybody on this board. That's my guy.

Wall is a better defender and passer. Curry is an immensely better scorer...from every level, and an above average defender in his own right. Curry is also a good passer, with a better feel for the game, and has to be accounted for at ALL times. You have to understand just how insane of a shooter he is. The gravity alone of his shot opens up the flow of the offense for GS. Steph also moves the ball. His points don't have to come in isolation.

Th difference between Steph and Kyrie is Steph is a clearly a better shooter than Kyrie. And Kyrie is a good shooter in his own right. Kyrie is also a very bad defender, while Steph is above average. Additionally, Kyrie is a below average passer for a PG. Kyrie can bog down the offense with his iso ball.

I hope that explains it for you.

It's Russ/Curry then CP3/Wall imo

besides you can just see Russ punking CP3 everytime then play vs each other

The last time they played each other, it was Cp3 punking Russ. This was in the midst of Russ's triple double stretch.

http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2015/3/...chris-paul-russell-westbrook-clippers-thunder

"Russell Westbrook has a career-high 10 turnovers.

7 of his 10 turnovers have come with Chris Paul as his primary defender."

"Russell Westbrook tonight by defender

vs Chris Paul: 7 Pts, 2-8 FG, 7 TO
vs all others: 17 Pts, 3-6 FG, 3 TO"

Paul finished with 33 points and nine assists while shooting 11-of-19 from the field

Giving Chris Paul FITS! Every time!

Easy. He can score better and more, which allows his teammates for way easier looks.

Way more clutch and definitely is a 4th quarter player that closes the game.

Curry's vision and passing is underrated by those who don't think he is. Last night showed that he is for those who forgot. Dude seriously got fancy but precise passing. He knows exactly where and who is where, like Wall but Curry just threads the needle so well. He's been showing his one touch pass lately.

Kyrie doesn't set teammates up as Wall or Curry. Kyrie looks to score once he's in the offense. You barely see Kyrie set up the offense and then pass the ball to where it is needed.
You'll see him dribble dribble and dribble, drive then maybe kick it out. Rinse and repeat. Maybe it's the offense or maybe Kyrie is the definition of a combo guard rather than a facilitation/scoring point guard.

lowkey cavs should put kyrie on the bench, mo is a better point guard imo. dude sets up the offense, sets up other guys and scores.

bruh ..........seriously there is absolutely no way you guys are serious.....john wall a better passer?!?

mo kyrie lebron love and mozgov , starting lineup with jr smith and tt off the bench would be great for that team ....smh at some of these coaches

steph curry is a threat from 35 ft out. it's difficult to gameplan for that. throw in his supporting cast and he is an offensive juggernaut. shooting, passing, etc. kid has it all

ima throw this out there now....................... westbrook is the most underrated player ever , and love is the most over rated

and who believes in KAT? this preseason makes me wonder if i shouldve given up kat and the #2 & #3 overall pick for boogie on 2k .....

Let's get one thing straight...I don't think anyone is saying Wall is a better player than Curry. Just a better passer. He's got a crazy feel for the game, and the number of easy buckets he sets up for his teammates is crazy to watch.

You should probably watch more Wizards games.

If he can stay healthy...and the Wizards offense is as legit as it was in the preseason (and last year's playoffs), you'll see Wall make even more strides.

Speaking of the Wizards offense...dude put up 8.5 assists in 22mpg in the preseason. :x

*The thing about Curry is that he's going down a path where he may end up being the greatest shooter in NBA history. Unreal, if you think about it. Coupled together with being nice w/ the rock and having excellent court vision, he's going to have a LONG career in the league and set many records. He's fun as hell to watch.

im with you , dont get me wrong , john wall is great , above average obviously , perennial allstar ....i understand what i put in bold here for wall , but steph curry just simply does all those things better......

I've already said Curry is the better player. I'm the one who said Curry was the best player in the NBA after he won MVP and the Tilte. How quickly we forget.

Check the old BowB4Me tape.

Pay attention to the corner 3s. There is no one in the league better than Wall, IMO, at setting up teammates for easy buckets from beyond the arc.

Next to cp3....Wall is the best passer in the game. His feel and anticipation for guys that will be open is insane.

This is a guy that was averaging 8.5apg as a rookie with Andre Blatche, Jordam Crawford and Nick Young getting significant minutes and touches.

Let that sink in.

Regardless who is better at passing, it doesn't downplay the fact that these guys that are mentioned, are all great facilitator, except for Kyrie.

All the rest, feed their guys right where the ball needs to be.
