same hereHornets seemed to have picked up on their 2013 momentum. I really hope they continue this and clinch a playoff spot. Can't wait to see them in full strength (probably next season).
Lance killed the momentum last season but the team is back playing well and I'm happy.
People bashed the Hornets for trading Gerald and Vonleh for Batum but that trade was A1. Batum is a better McRoberts who was key for the 2013 team
The usual with lavineTowns showing such nice skills on the perimeter. Lavine launching shots for no particular reason
Except Josh Smith was a huge reason why Houston came back from 1-3 deficit to the Clippers in the playoffs. As soon as McHale put him into the starting lineup they started playing a lot betterAl Jeff has taken a step back ever since he gave up his fried chicken, but everyone on the team seemed to have progressed/ bounced back from last year.
It's amazing what addition by subtraction can do. Lance with the Hornets and J Smith with the pistons...the alarming part is they are both on the Clippers now. lol
Batum finna get paid, especially if he becomes an All-Star
I'll cry if they maxed Batum
honestly don't even know what a good contract will be w/ the cap increase coming up
no doubt he will. I admittedly thought he was falling off because of his diminished role w/ Portland but he has looked very good so far this season.Batum finna get paid, especially if he becomes an All-Star

Rehilly
I feel the same way
It's a catch-22..
I think if you spend as many years as an 8th seed as the 76ers did.. And can't get any further, and can't get the impact guys you need to join through FA, and the draft isn't producing the guys you want / need.
You gotta start toward the beginning and build it back up.
Where it's getting bad, is Hinkie's process has shown no improvement, in fact, the 76ers have regressed, and are even worse than they were last year. There really was no reason that they shouldn't have tried to field a more competitive team. Not a playoff team, but a team that was better than last year... Especially when they have as many as 5 first round picks. And had 16 picks in the last 3 years..
doesnt help when noel and embiid were hurt from the start
I feel like they did try this year but injuries got in the way. Wroten, Marshal, Embiid, Noel, etc...people are forgetting this is a banged up team. They also traded for Stauskas but that does not look like it is panning out.
Plus Lance was feelin himself coming off the season he had. Didn't look like he trained or practiced at all coming into last season
I think Lance is better w/ a smaller role. The responsibility the Hornets wanted from him was just too much for his personality. Everybody ain't cut out to be the man
DJ airball FT. Doesn't eem surprise me anymore
HOLY ****. 2 FT AIRBALLS IN A ROW
