To be fair to Oak, he's 19 and was clearly drunk in that video. Doesn't make him an awful person for bragging about having money. Obviously dumb but still.
 
it's that Bieber mentality, you give a young kid the world and expect him to make decisions of a 40 year old

If I'm an NBA player and someone wants to talk **** about my team/me being trash you damn right I'm letting that lame know he'll never make as much money as me in his entire life as I will in the next 5.

Idk why people think it's cool to talk **** to someone just because you see him playbasketball on tv for 2.5 hours every couple days. Let these dudes live.

i should clarifr I'm speaking about dudes that do this to atheletes while they're out at dinner/clubs/bars.

Uhh he probably wasn't upset to see him go because he recruited him with the understanding he would only be there for a year anyway. Okafor was a one and done lock since his freshman year of high school.

Coach K knew he was leaving but they were telling me he was a bit of a head case but I didn't believe it. Always seemed like a humble kid at Duke.

I swear to god this climate we're in is the worst.

It's so easy to sit behind a screen and pick apart athletes whose lives are lived in the public view.

Who's sitting and dissecting the ins and outs of your lives? I swear ****** really sit back and finger point under some false guise of perfection like they don't **** up.

I understand it's the price of fame...but got damn...we're talking about a 19 year old. ****** in here talking about how grateful he should be, blah blah blah as if he won the lottery or some ****. He put WORK in to get to that level. He don't owe nobody ****. Does he need to make better decisions to protect his status and his freedom? Obviously. But I'm tired of the public pitchfork society that act like they're the ******* authority on doing the right thing.
