Agreed. He does have his lapse but for the most part, he doesn't gamble much and he usually stay in front or always putting his arm or body on the player.

Kobe is just not deserving of a roster spot. Point blank. 16 ppg on 30 percent shooting.

I know the argument is that Kobe should get that 12th man spot because of his name. The problem is he's not going to want 12th man minutes. That's just not his nature.
He's not down to take a backseat to anyone. He'll fight his mortality till he dies.

Never underestimate though. A bronze medal in the past should prohibit arrogance. I can understand if we won nothing but gold, but we didn‘t.
I think the respect for international players are there, but the whole, this is automatic is what cost us.
