He's one of the best center's in the league as it pertains to foul ratio. A lot of that is Spo benching him for extended periods of time after he receives a few fouls... Spo also benches him for taking any mid-range shots, of which he's been/was one of our better mid-range shooters. nd collectively a lot of other things. They are hitting him with lobs but ignoring him when he's got mismatches or generally wants the ball outside of a lob. This is GG's third consecutive game having at least 5 more FG's than Hassan. Spo doesn't even have any plays for him. I'd be hella tight.

He's one of the best centers in the league purely off of what he brings defensively. He's limited offensively. His footwork is sloppy and he lacks the motor of an Andre Drummond scoring the ball. He has a long way to go offensively. I've seen Whiteside travel and get offensive fouls when he has mismatches in the post. Add on the fact the smaller player will just foul him and force him to make free throws.

And I don't know about him being a threat to make a mid range shot. He can make them occasionally, but those are just a bonus points. Why would you want your 7 foot center bailing out the defense shooting mid range jumpers anyway?

Whiteside sits out because the team is usually playing well without him on the floor. And why are you surprised GG has more shot attempts then Whiteside. He's a chucker. He's had more shot attempts than Wade multiple times this season. And if he's mad, hopefully that pushed him to play better. He can be a beast, but he's not ready yet.

Whiteside is getting treated just like any NBA rookie. He's proven nothing, yet people are wanting an Championship coach to give him the keys. He has to earn it. What the difference between Pop yelling at Duncan or Parker to the way Spo treat Whiteside?

I don't really post in S&T but I've noticed that we're 25% into the season and two things caught my eye...

The Miami Heat have the No. 1 seed in the East.

The East has more teams above .500 (10) than the West (6).

Man I still can't believe Pacers could have had both pg13 and klaw. If I were Larry bird, I would never take a call from them again

They almost traded PG for Hill the year before, too.
damn for real?? thats crazy, don't remember this rumor

Well, what I said is a bit misleading. They wanted to trade away their pick that year for him, but the pick ended up being PG.

Would Spurs have 6 banners instead of 5 with pg13? :nerd:
it could be 1-5 :nerd:

Maybe 0-6. Do OKC even beat Spurs with pg13?

What's going on with okafor
The guy has been having bad luck after Duke won the championship

Getting drafted to the Sixers and being part of one of the worst teams in history, having a gun being pulled on him a couple weeks ago, being put on blast by TMZ recently, and being caught for reckless speeding
The guy probably came across a couple black cats or something
