Miller played his entire 18-year career for Indiana, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012.

Curry leads the league in scoring at 32.4 points per game, while George is third at 27.6.

Curry is third in 3-point percentage (47.2). George is eighth (45.4).

Curry is first in 3-pointers made (116). George is third (64).

When it comes to the supporting casts: Miles is averaging 15.6 points while shooting 43.5 percent from deep. Klay Thompson is averaging 17.2 points while making 42 percent of his treys.

Curry's former teammate, Monta Ellis, is registering 11.7 points and 4.8 assists per contest, to go along with a 41.8 shooting percentage.

George Hill, who will probably be tasked with trying to defend Curry, is averaging 12.8 points, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals per night.

The Warriors lead the league in 3-pointers attempted per game (30.9).

Golden State is tops in 3-point percentage (43.7), while Indiana is second (40.1).

The Warriors are fifth in defensive rating (97.6). The Pacers are sixth (98.1)

Golden State is 22-0. Indiana is 12-7.

"I'm not discrediting what Golden State is doing," Miller added. "These dudes are playing out of their minds ... they're playing lights out.

"... But the buck stops in Indiana."

Well Hibbert & Lance are still in the league. Bender washed out because he couldn't stay healthy.

Ain't no time consuming high dollar budget doc needed for that.

The best part about Kobe Bryant retiring is we’re treated to all kinds of great stories about the Lakers star.

Take this one from the 2012 Olympics, when Kobe, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook played for Team USA. The Thunder had just reached the NBA Finals, and Durant had just won his third straight scoring title. So, Kobe – still fancying the Lakers a contender – tried to poke at the underlying on-court tension between the Oklahoma City stars.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports on Kobe:


“He spent the summer imploring Westbrook that he couldn’t let Durant win another NBA scoring title, trying to send him back to Oklahoma City with gunning on his mind.”

Ha! Classic Kobe.

Unfortunately for him, Westbrook and Durant share too close a bond for that to work. Durant lost the scoring title to Carmelo Anthony in 2012-13, but Westbrook actually shot less than year prior.

Still, you have to salute Kobe’s effort to find an edge.

at this point, or was it last season, no one really cares about what kobe has to say. really. writers jusy try so hard to squeeze every last bit out of this by taking quotes out of context and exagerrating things.

Looking at starting players is so lazy. That's not what makes gsw so deadly. They have Steph plus an entire team full of guys that can go off on any given night. Extremely well constructed team
 
Hibbert would still be a force if he was matched up against Lebron and Tyson Chandler like he always used to be
