I started to ask but I hate basing these type of things on hypotheticals.

But for conversation's sake, Indiana would be worse off. Paul George is pretty much their primary ballhandler / playmaker.

Kawhi can't do that...so Indiana would be relying on George Hill and a washed Monta Ellis to fill that role.

No doubt, we could even take it to a more holistic hypothetical too.

Literally replace PG or Kwahi with (X player) who would be more successful across the league as a #1 option?

In the final two minutes of OKC vs. LAC - the Thunder were advantaged by three incorrect non-calls - per NBA

lol

Quote:
- Russell Westbrook fouled Chris Paul last night but it wasn't called - per NBA

- Serge Ibaka should have been called for an offensive foul wiht 10/9 seconds left on Mbah a Moute that wasn't called

- Dion Waiters fouled JJ Redick at 1:04 but that too wasn't called per the NBA

- The big one was Chris Paul's layup that should have been an and-one - but the game is over, Clippers get no points for it after the fact

I was reading a whole bunch of good articles on this topic.

And they had some good points. One being:

Your teammates pick who the leader is. Just because you call yourself the leader doesn't mean you are one.

He just got to chill and play his game.

It's not about who's the leader, what's important is if you're winning.

Awesome to know my complaints about the officiating last night are vindicated - rolls eyes -

The non-call on the CP lay-up was huge. I didn't notice all the over stuff, but most of it.

I think the last sentence is referring back to the first non-call he listed.

At the end of the day, it's pretty obvious there are some issues beyond the court in Chicago. All the symptoms of a team that doesn't like each other are there.

I won't say blow it up but it's time to shake some **** up.

Deron Williams considered quitting basketball during Nets stint

Deron Williams said he was so miserable playing with the Nets that he considered walking away from the game.

"It took a lot out of me, man, those three years. Some of the hardest in my life," Williams told Yahoo! Sports. "Made me question if I even wanted to play basketball when I was done with that contract."

In February 2011, the Jazz traded Williams to the Nets for Derrick Favors, Devin Harris, cash, and two first-round draft picks. It was a lot to give up, but the Nets and owner Mikhail Prokhorov were going all-in on building a championship in New York.

Deron Williams battled injuries and expectations with the Nets but is now happy in Dallas. Frank Franklin II/AP
It didn't work out. After averaging 17.3 points on .466 shooting while adding 9.1 assists per game with the Jazz, Williams slipped to 16.6 points on .418 shooting and 7.5 assists with the Nets. After being an iron man in Utah, he also started missing games with various injuries, notably to his ankles.

So Williams was relieved to work out a buyout with the Nets this past summer and sign with his hometown Mavericks.

"It's cool. There's a lot of people, I guess, who aren't built for New York," Williams told Yahoo on the eve of returning to Brooklyn to play the Nets on Wednesday. "New York is not for everybody."

Williams is averaging just 15.1 points and 5.8 assists per game in Dallas, but he's not supposed to be the savior. His big salary and inability to take the Nets past the second round of the playoffs made him a flop on the East Coast.

"I wish I wouldn't have been hurt. I wish I would've played better and people didn't feel like I was just stealing money. That's the last thing I want people to feel like," Williams told Yahoo. "It didn't work out the way anybody had hoped."

Williams is now feeling healthy and happy.

"I'm just glad I'm here and feeling better about everything," he told Yahoo.

The bulls need to get rid of rose if they wanna get anywhere. He's washed and doesn't know his role, stop shooting b. I know Chicago love that kid but he ain't the answer, u never choose him over jimmy.

More talk about the Bulls's locker room:
Quote:
“I think that team has big-time problems in the locker room,” one league source familiar with the situation told Sporting News. “There is no camaraderie. There’s no chemistry. I wouldn’t say it is fighting all the time or hatred or whatever. It’s just, you stay in your corner, and I will stay in mine. I don’t think there is any one trade or anything they can make that fixes that.”

lol, stop shooting ?
You watch a Bulls game this year at all?
I'll choose Rose over Jimmy any day. At least Rose doesnt throw his teammates and coache under the bus. Jimmy wanna speak about how he's the leader and how everyone has to work hard. Easy to say that when he's never gotten a major injury in his career.

Jimmy is the one that isn't running hoiberg's offense yet he gets the most plays called for him and gasol. Plays aren't called for rose or anyone else. Mostly Butler and gasol gets those usage. Jimmy is very good but he's taking the wrong approach and his teammates are going to be fed up with his diva antics if he keep it up. He's not kobe
